The Jeep Meridian sits on the Compass platform, though it has been modified significantly to accommodate the third additional row. For power, the SUV uses the same 2.0L, 4-cylinder Multijet turbo diesel engine that does duty in the 5-seater sibling. The motor makes a top power of 170bhp and 350Nm of torque. Transmission duties are performed by a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed automatic gearbox. One must note that the FWD system is available only with manual variants and the optional AWD comes with the automatic variants only. Watch the video to know more about this stunning new SUV.
