While it is played in Bungie graphics exclusively, it's always worth seeing either what was cut and restored, or what could be there thanks to modders who understand Halo and its game balance.

when you realise how rushed halo 2 was after the engine failed (unable to handle all the stuff bungie tried to implement) and how they had to crunch the game within a few months from basically scratch.. this game is amazing but imagine what it could have been. you could try halo 2 uncut which puts in most of the stuff bungie intended but didnt have time to such as a warthog run at the end of high charity. also lorewise, the next game would be halo 3 odst which takes begins at the end of metropolis. but its your choice obviously.

They didn't cut it because they wanted to. They cut it because they didn't have time to remake it after the engine failed. By cut content, I and the developer of halo 2 uncut, mean content that was fully intented to be integrated into the main game but cut cause of time constraints.

Sadly at the end of this mission.. Cortana stood behind in the Flood infested High Charity.. while Chief is on the ship heading to earth to stop the Prophet of Truth. Sad moment of separation between these two partners. This game is so heartfelt.
