Lizzy Borden will always be on the Mt. Rushmore of Metal. Lizzy & the band mean the world to me. Eternal gratitude to Brian for helping bring this to the world.
I played that vhs soooo much I had to buy a second one & then I made a copy, I finally found it on DVD a few years ago , I have a ton of concert DVD’s but still watch this a few times a yeah, killer show & band🤘🏻
I was living in New Bern, N.C. when I went to the record store at the Mall in New Bern and bought this cassette. I remember listening to it ALL THE TIME. I would go back a few weeks later, and they had the VHS. As soon as I walked into the doors of the store, the guy called me over to him and handed me the VHS with my name on it. I was super psyched to get this tape. Been a fan ever since. This was in 1988, so about 2 years after its release. The next year, I bought Visual Lies, and that album is still one of my all-time favorites. Keep it going, Lizzy.
I wish Lizzy would do a tour soon lol I'd love to see them live at least once but playing mostly would like to see songs from the love you to pieces, visual lies and master of disguise albums
Thank you for this behind the scenes tid bit! I've been a Lizzy Borden fan since '87, and I'm so, so grateful to Brian and Metal Blade for releasing their records!
It's seems to me like you never play "Be One of Us", does somebody else owe the rights or something ? Maybe I'm the only one who thinks it's an awesome song ! 😂🤗

As a metal fan, you have to appreciate the love Metal Blade has for their "legacy acts", so to speak. The Lizzy Borden reissues (same could be said about King Diamond, Armored Saint, Fates Warning etc etc) are absolutely impeccable. The Master of Disguise box set comes with a making of documentary and the DVD for this awesome live video.
Man I remember when this came out that was it I was hooked lizzy Borden fan I bought all ther music fucking lizzy was the man my only regret never seeing them live!!

Master of Disguise. One of the unsung, underrated albums of my High School career
