I saw these guys when they opend for the 1975 and they were way better than the 1975, I bloody love the drummer!
A few years ago The 1975 did a free show in the city im from and literally 5 people showed. I never understood how they were a little bit popular for awhile but they actually have a small following
to be honest I prefer Wolf Alice they're so talented and Ellie is an amazing singer I love them
I tried really hard to get into the 1975 and I just couldn’t lol.
I used to LOVE the 1975 in the early 2010’s. I was so close to getting their box logo tattoo’d on me. The first album they put ou and the deluxe edition is some of the best music I’ve heard, even still. But man they fell off after that second album. Now they do this weird faux-environmental propaganda bullshit, and are just injecting their opinion into everything. They just seem so pretentious and annoying now. Last good song they put out was “Give Yourself A Try”. Wolf Alice, on the other hand… took the best of the 1975 and seem to add this level of punk common sense to it but somehow even more. Anyways… maybe it’s just because I am not an angsty teen anymore but the 1975 just isn’t for me.
Difference being one band comprised of musicians, & the other was not. Look who's still around.

Nice music but I don't like their aesthetics. It is like: 'hey we are Wolf Alice and just another band on the block'. This attitude makes me crunch a little bit. If they didn't have this common attitude this band would be a lot cooler in my humble opinion. I still dig those tunes.

They're enjoying what they do, if that means they get money whilst doing it, just another advantage, I understand them
DJZwart Broek They are playing it down because its vevo they probably don't want to be there in this corporate studio doing something they would prefer to be playing live in front of an audience or use the time on their album. This is something their manager probably made them do.

this type of singing isn't her thing. the guitarist is the focal point of the band, always has been. and he makes this song bearable. should have been an instrumental.
