    The mentality of Deni, JP, and Kispert are very needed for the rebuild. No need of trading them now. They are still young and can lead the team later. OKC went through this kind of thing, and where are they now? The players in this have potential to exploit. They just need a good coach and train harder.😊

    Also, there is a video that camr out on UA-cam where Go Go coach talked about Jordan Poole's development as a leader on the Wizards.
    I think its important to remember that when building these young teams you have to have a mix of vets and young players. Minnesota, Denver, Boston aren't just relient on their young players. Experience is very important so trading all your slightly older played and just building through the draft only doesn't necessarily make you a contender!

    We need at least 2 more years of top first round picks. Keep Keefe.

    if you cant see the potential of Deni being a first option in a wining team you should talk about soccer

      Deni is probably a second option offensively that can play as high PG. like he did some at the last month of the season

    Brian Keefe actually started his career in San Antonio and worked with Sam Presti.
    Also, in listening to Dawkins they chose Poole because he thought he fit the direction of the future. Go back and listen to what he said when he introduced him last summer.

    Good show. I agree that the roster will change over time but the idea of trading good players like Corey or Poole for draft picks and thinking that will lead to a good team is risky.
    Look at Detroit!
    Detroit is RIDDLED with lottery picks and it has not turned into a winning team. They have so many lottery players they're starting to trade them, aka Marvin Bagley.
    At some point you have to assess what you have and begin to build based on fit.
    Poole for example is a good young player who fits your timeline and can add to winning. If you trade him for draft capital can you be assured you'll draft someone who'll be better.

    • @ubonwang1485
      @ubonwang1485 4 місяці тому +1

      Exactly, especially Poole has championship experience, people who wants to rely on young players that haven't proven anything, very risky. Even Ant needed to be surround by vets to get better and learn how to win.

    Based on what this guest said, I hope to god they trade deni.
    Deni is an allstar on a good team.

      Opinions are just like rectums, everybody has one.
      Deni numbers ARE saying differently and he will be an allstar eventually, with our without the wizards.

    • @HappyAstronomicalModel-lr5we
      @HappyAstronomicalModel-lr5we 4 місяці тому +1

      Deni averaged 14ppg, 7 rebounds and 3 assists this season. Those are nowhere near All-star numbers. All-stars are averaging upwards of 25ppg. Check out the stats of Luka, Shai, Tyrese Maxey and Haliburton or Bam Odebayo. They're averaging way more than Deni.
      As bad as Jordan Poole played for part of the season he even averaged more points than Deni.
      Deni's a solid good player but he is not an All-star or a first option on a team.

      so when you want to speak about a g-league player jordan fool it's "in the last months" but when it comes to deni it's "this season", right lol
      since changing coaches, well most of the game now, they scored the same 18.6-18.8 PPG, the only difference is that deni did it in 51% and poole in 41%
      this is more valid comparison if so.
      and then, you also compared deni with guards lol

    Please don’t get up and up in the wash when it comes to pool . He is not your long-term answer. He is a trade chip just like Kuzma. You have about three or four super young players that you drafted that’s what’s got to be the people you built a team around not those two guys

    • @peaceful344
      @peaceful344 4 місяці тому +1

      Poole is not a trade chip. Dawkins said when they traded for him, that he felt Poole fit the direction the franchise was going. He said this last summer when he introduced him.

      @@peaceful344 peace yes he is you need to come to realize this is a rebuild stop trying to wanna win you can’t win and rebuilt just embrace the rebuild because you’re not gonna you can’t do both. I understand. I’m from Washington. I understand the years and years and years and decades and decades and decades of the same major basketball but the only way if you’re gonna rebuild, you guys wanted to rebuild, you have to tear it down to the studs, so Pool will be traded once he gets his to where they can get what they want for him same thing with Kuzma plan in simple

    • @johnloftus6043
      @johnloftus6043 4 місяці тому +1

      I like Poole a lot. He is intelligent in his approach and once a good head coach put him at point, on the ball, his talent was on full display. If Bilal improves like Deni and Corey did, this team may surprise us.
      I also love what Marvin Bagley brings to the team. A tough, good inside player with good hands.

    • @Invalidusrr
      @Invalidusrr 4 місяці тому

      Depends on how long it takes for the team to get to contention and how good Poole gets imo. If it ends up being a pistons situation where it seems like they’re in an eternal rebuild then yeah trade him. If it’s more like an okc situation and he can become a star I don’t see why we couldn’t keep him.

    • @chrishutchens5167
      @chrishutchens5167 4 місяці тому

      @@Invalidusrr this is a rebuilt. You don’t keep players like him with high salaries for long periods of time by the time the team is ready to truly win. He would be a free agent. You’re better off trading him once he built his fire you can get some for him and rebuild you build around the youngest players so yes they need and will trade him

  • @modax0
    @modax0 4 місяці тому +1

    I stopped listening when the dude said "Jordan Poole has put up the work" lmao
    The guy is a GHOST on defense and has been one his whole career.
    Hopefully he takes his "skills" to another team that sees the next Dennis Rodman in him 😂

    • @HappyAstronomicalModel-lr5we
      @HappyAstronomicalModel-lr5we 4 місяці тому +2

      Poole is not good on defense but can get better but I guarantee he will be the leading scorer on the team next season. Since the move to PG his averages shot up.
      Look at the team's final 10 games. He averaged 23ppg, 8 assists and 4 rebounds. Higher than everyone on the team. Most guards don't play a lot of defense. Take Tyrese Maxey, Haliburton, Lillard or Trae Young.. Terrible defense! Keefe will work with him to get better but his scoring needed.

    • @modax0
      @modax0 4 місяці тому +1

      @@HappyAstronomicalModel-lr5we
      Stop saying "he averaged x points" and start speak also about his cheese percetage . no body cares how much he scores if he did it in 15% FG .
      "Most guards don't play a lot of defense. Take Tyrese Maxey, Haliburton, Lillard or Trae Young", my point exactly, what are their achievments ? nothing. you don't play defense you are a burden to the team.

    • @modax0
      @modax0 4 місяці тому +1

      I can also score 30 every game myself. my team will probably lose 147-38 or something, but all you care is personal empty stats .
