  • This video is for any potential residents of the Mahoney, Pearson, or Eaton dorms at University of Miami! Gives you the layout of the room as well as ideas on how to set up your furniture. Hope you find it helpful!
*UPDATE APRIL 2019: If you notice some of the editing/narration is disjointed or discontinuous, it's because I just went back and revised the video in UA-cam Studio post-upload to cut out a large chunk of unnecessary rambling. Hopefully it's easier to watch now! Also sorry about the angle, didn't realize until after I was done recording that I was filming vertically.

Hi there, if you would be so kind to let me know the width of the shower as well as the width of the toilet area that would be great. Just trying to figure out what size curtains too good. Thank you kindly and thank you so much for the video!

Hi! Do both Mahoney and Pearson have communal kitchens? If not, which one does?

No, not dangerous at all. The campus is very safe, located in the quiet suburb Coral Gables. And yes, downtown Miami/Brickell is one of the most popular going out spots for UM students, though it is a bit of an expensive Uber away from campus. Coconut Grove (“the Grove”), Wynwood, and South Beach are the other popular places to go.

What tape did you guys use on the walls?

To hang things we found the velcro command strips worked best, especially after using the sanding block to make the walls less glossy/slippery
