The CBS thing really aggravated me because i despise golf. There was a message onscreen saying go to CBSSPORTS but CBSSPORTS never picked up the game. Sucked. It is hard to imagine in this day and age that no-one at the network could get that feed switch to work. Until demand increases to a level akin to basketball, NWSL+ should air ALL the games and charge a $5 monthly fee or even a per game fee. I feel the same way about hockey. NHL should have its own network and charge a reasonable per game fee to watch any games you want. ESPECIALLY during playoffs. oh, and NO BLACKOUTS! we are way beyond the need or usefulness of local blackouts.

What Lynn said at 40:32 about not feeling like she could ever hit a tackle again to me just encapsulates the bravery (foolishness?) of athletes to do dangerous things over and over again.
the streaming mishap for the portland seattle game isn’t even the first time this happened. the league deserves way better. if the nwsl wants more people to watch the games, they need to make them accessible. i know it’s not cheap, but it would be so worth it.
My Broadway recommendations: 2 I’ve seen: Wicked builds on your Wizard of Oz theme and Hamilton is truly spectacular. 2 I want to see: SIX is at the top of the list and Hell’s Kitchen won a bunch of Tony’s with music and lyrics written by Alicia Keys.
Loved this episode!! The face time call was so fun! The whole CBS golf thing pissed me off as a big Thorns fan. I was looking for the game everywhere and couldn’t find it and ended up missing the entire first half. The way the NWSL streams games needs to change. I was also at the Bay FC game, and Bay should have been up by 3 in the first half, the missed chances were just unfortunate. Love you guys!! ❤

I hope it's true that this year's broadcast rights deal signals progress for the league. But for fans it's not better to have 5 or 6 different places you may need to go to watch a game, some of which require a friggin' cable subscription. The MLS Season Pass setup on Apple TV+ is so simple and done so well in every way. It's not cheap and I don't know if it would be the right fit for how the NWSL is trying to grow. I personally would be psyched if the NWSL had a deal like that, just as a super fan. If old school broadcasters are going to treat the games like they did recently, F 'em. They're dinosaurs anyway. The league deserves better.

Katie Stengel yellow card was for kicking the ball up the field to delay free kick restart after she fouled Louisville player. Danielle Chesky was the same referee when Sophia Smith earned two yellows for delays last week. The broadcasters were probably remote from studio and not at the venue. They often guess at what is going on because they are only watching on a TV. It is crazy to give credit to every wacky guess the broadcasters come up with. Broadcasters missed Stengel kicking ball to delay restart and guessed up some nonsense reason for the yellow card, and now that nonsense gets replayed and talked about but nobody replays Stengel kicking the ball to delay the restart.
Hearing what Ella said about JCA confirmed my belief that he is not only a great coach but also a great motivator.
