Thank you so much for your help. I just bought a Matthews Cove triple action reclining couch with great hesitation, because I know that the more gadgets something has, there's more possibility of things to go wrong. However, I had to replace the latches twice in my manual opening couch so I figure that I'll be able to learn to replace the mechanisms on an electric couch as well. I can't seem to find any owners manual for my couch anywhere so I really appreciate learning some basics from your videos. Thank you for sharing your expertise.
Nice video, I am trouble shooting a bobs discount furniture recliner . 2/3 motors work with direct 29v . Remote control will not work. If one motor goes bad does it effect the operation of the rest of the chair
Not sure about your particular chair. In my case (a Costco chair) each recliner is independent of the other. I don’t have a remote control though. My theory is that there is a single “receiver” for the remote. Perhaps that is broken or has a bad cable? Does the chair work with the switches directly (as opposed to the remote)
@@ThingsEvenICanDo 2 of the 3 motors work when using bench power ( 29 Volts DC) ( I jumped the junction box and powered the motors directly ). I just ordered a new remote. Problem is either at the remote controller or the junction box which accepts the line, the 3 motors and the remote controller.
Hard to say. I’d try replacing the switch first, then the other parts I mention in this and the other video. Sometimes it’s trial and error. If you buy on Amazon, you can return the part of it doesn’t solve your issue.

Good luck. I’d be curious to know the outcome.
Got a replacement remote and it doesn’t work
My couch will not recline. The light flickers. Any suggestions?
