How do you guys go about getting permission? I feel like ill get rejected because im digging holes on their grass, i can see woods ok
Every hunt we do is a permission. 2 or 3 of us will go to the door and introduce ourselves. We explain that we metal detect and we love history, and we look for old coins and relics on your property. Don't say dig,but cut a plug remove the object and replace the plug. Put a towel down for the dirt if you have to remove alot. Most people are friendly and interested in what you might find in their yards. Tell them you will show them everything you find.

The best i found was 122 coins in a hole someone put them there

Who is the young guy who acted like he owns this site? He ticked me off, Dave doesn't need someone to talk for him. This site keeps springing people on you with no explaination as to who or why there acting like they are in charge. I enjoyed this, but some explanation would be great! Where is Rich?
