I do like this theme a lot. This feels unique to Kyo and although it has shades of Esaka in it it does a great job of emphasising Kyo as the standalone fighter (at least until he got back with his teammates in KOF 2001).
2019 and Tears will always be the best Kyo theme in my heart, mind, and soul alongside Esaka's and Goodbye Esaka. Amazing Remix!! "Miseteyaru, Kusanagi no kobushi wo! ... Anta ja moenee...."
Was rambling to my friend about the genius of Kyo's character and Tears as a composition and he replied with "It sounds like a theme of someone who is at his lowest but keeps tanking troubles with his face and keeps going" and I think that this is the best way to put it
