This is my first time watching a women's flag football match and I've got to say im extremely impressed with Mexico. Flores is something special and they are well coached. I thought the USA would overpower with their physicality, but Mexico played smarter. Congrats Mexico!!! 👏🏽🥳
Wow WTF! I didn't know this was a Womens' sport. Mexico was disciplined, while USA was disorganized. I would watch women's flag football if it were on TV and of this caliber of play.
@@warnpeace1992 Especially with women, a lot more men play soccer than flag football but at least in my personal experience living in Mexico City for a few years seemed like there were many more women who played flag compared to soccer. Co-ed soccer leagues are so common in the states but pretty rare in Mexico, whereas I had a couple different friends who played on co-ed flag teams in Mexico.

Seriously, though I like how fast paced the game is and that it is basically and NFL game without the 20 minutes of commercials. Also, for team USA man this is just another example of discipline and hard work will be talent and skill ever time. At the Olympics, and before then the next World Championships, the men and women US teams have a LOT of work to do offensively and defensively. They could've won this game if they also were focused on playing more zone and knowing their roles in the zone and on the play. They need to work on making the game more competitive in order for it to continue growing as a sport. They talked about how good team USA were prior to the game, but I didn't see any of that on the field. Team USA's qb appeared to throw too many deep, careless passes. I like the routes and passes for Mexican team. The US got talented players, but Mexico played a more disciplined and smarter game.

@@lalotz Don't know where, but she did say it. And she wasn't wrong. The refs really did make some bad calls. I just hope they get a QB who has like track speed and great accuracy. At the Olympics, and before then the next World Championships, the men and women US teams have a LOT of work to do offensively and defensively.
The men move up the field quickly and score fast, the women need to know when to go fast and take chances but smart ways. They could've won this game if they also were focused on playing more zone and knowing their roles in the zone and on the play.
Get Bill Belichick in there to coach the women and he'd have them a disciplined, well-oiled machine.

First learned about Flores from her highlights on ig explore page last year. Now ran into this game today. I was like I seen her before. She is a beast.
The rest of that team is good as well both sides of the ball.
They need to work on making the game more competitive in order for it to continue growing as a sport. They talked about how good team USA were prior to the game, but I didn't see any of that on the field. Team USA's qb appeared to throw too many deep, careless passes. I like the routes and passes for Mexican team. The US got talented players, but Mexico played a more disciplined and smarter game.
