The higher the resolution of the display, the less of an issue aliasing is, but the framerate drops as resolution increases, making any temporal blur more noticeable. So at high resolutions would be best to have no temporal effects, assuming you don't also upgrade your system.
aliasing, because even the smallest thing will shimmer in modern games at any framerate. The blur aint that noticeable at 1440p or above unless the framerate is unbelievably low
@@Hybred bruh it isnt. It has the average Taa blur at that res. 1080p i get it, but 1440p and up is more than fine if u aint playing at 30fps when there is basically no temporal data
@@mrpiratefox4497 it is, I play at 1440p, that's my monitors resolution and it's also objectively true. I can take screenshots and show you that, so theirs data to confirm it outside of anecdotes. If you're denying it its because you don't notice it, for whatever factor that might be (your eyes may not be as sensitive, or you may have bad vision, sitting further back, etc) but I notice it very easily.
Ok i know my comment is going to be irrelevant under this video, but i need to know something(sorry for the long comment) My issue is regarding anti alising, no matter how much i max out my settings and anti alising there seems to be jagged edegs in all my games. Earlier the problem was not there but now it is there, in some games it looks horrendus and in some games it looks ok(but jaged edges still present) . Can you provide me any advice regarding this? Thank you
@@Hybred Gta 5,skyrim,Ac unity and some other games. earlier this problem was not there but suddenly one day i saw all the jagged edges. Currently playing rdr2, TLOU the issue is there but not as bad as in some old games like Gta 5 Ac unity, and skyrim
@@Scorpwind true, I do have a bit of Oversenstivity regarding anti alising, but the thing that bugs me the most is that earlier in all my games this issue was not there, suddenly one day most of my games started having this problem of jagged edges, Thats why I am concerned😞
Maybe cux it is?? U saying it as an insult when it literally is one, it was made during the last years of the xbox one gen and released in the cross gen period for both consoles
Isnt it exactly? They cut back on the graphics and all because of Xbox One. Now, if only it was as rounded out as past Halos especially the Bungie ones, it'd be swell. Because it's either uninspired overall or like it's trying to keep me in that sweet spot of cosily waking me up and saying "good morning sweet prince" but I actually want to wake up and go on my day but it won't let me kind of feel.

Pls soon I hate TAA and if it looks this good without it, I'd be fine with disabling it
Pretty good for a 6 years old game
What's more noticable at high resolutions: aliasing (when not using aa) or temporal blur?

@@mrpiratefox4497that's not true. Halo Infinite is extremely blurry in motion at 1440p

Taa is graphic destroy cancer.
In general, I usually I like TAA to take out the jaggies but then I resharpen the soft look with LS depending on the game.

@@Wolf-fi4ef No offence, but you seem to have quite the oversensitivity towards aliasing. Especially regarding games that use TAA.

Infinite is such a mid-gen looking game
