This is the coolest live action movie ever. Because they used the same actors the game characters were modelled after made this feel like it was the real deal.

Fun fact: the "unique weapon" Bethany mentions the guard using at 10:06 is what I'm sure is called a 'man-catcher.' The design used here is a bit different but the idea was using the prongs to pull cavalrymen off their horses and drag them to the ground where they could be pinned down. They were also used to trap and contain violent prisoners.
There's even modern versions of the man-catcher still used today in places like Japan, primarily used non-lethally by riot police to hold back rioters and criminals.

I've also seen versions w/ spring mechanisms, which prevent the escape by moving backwards because when you enter it they go to the side, then the spring forces em back to the original position. This makes the fit far tighter & enables an easier means of snapping the neck by swinging it to the side

It seems interesting to state that there being a moment in the game that we could read the document that Ezio’s Father was task to give leading way to the Borgia. As it give some insight on the father’s task on what he has to do and what caused him to be captured in the based game during his Execution. Also Ken I appreciate that you noticed about the Hidden Blade being broken. As that is a good thought as Ezio did receive the broken blade and Leonardo had to fix it for ezio to use it again. 😏
So with all said, I am curious if you two going to watch “The Truth” puzzle solved video or something that explains more on “Subject 16” and discover on the reason they left the symbols in AC1 in Desmond’s Room when you see within Eagle Vision.
That would be good to check out at some point because the stuff with Desmond and 16 and the symbols is super confusing 😅

The live action was further along in time than the renaissance. The movie was from the Spanish inquisition era during the conquest of South America. Different time period. And completely different bloodline. The movie actually was looking for a descendant of Eden or a person that is a reincarnation of one of the old gods. Basim is a reincarnation of loki while Evior herself is a reincarnation of Odin. The pieces of Eden became less important as the reincarnations are much more important now.
Certainly recommend going through Assassins Creed Brotherhood and Revelations - then onto AC3 and AC Black Flag

I remember getting this with the codex edition of Brotherhood, a cool well built chest the game a set of cards and this DVD

The live action movie is standalone about a new Assassin. It’s been a while since I’ve seen it but I remember it didn’t live up to my hopes. I don’t remember it enough to call it bad, just not what I wanted.

The live action Assassin's Creed played a little loose with the lore to make it a bit more cinematic. The writing was absurd, at times, but entertaining.
