We can from the US to buy a house in Baguio but realized there is zero parking anywhere in this town. Its great when you are staying at a hotel and can walk everywhere but all that goes away when you live there. 15 to 20 minute drive to the park and then hours of waiting for a parking spot. This is the same everywhere you go. For instance...there are 30 plus parking spots at McDonalds in the US. There are only three in Baguio. Love the city....but the lack of parking at the parks, the restaurants, and anywhere else you want to go make the city not a good place to live...for us.

I missed U Papa VJ....great to see another vlog from you. The condo unit seems very nice (though medyo pricey)......

This is so overpriced!!! For 17M I could already have built a nice house!

All of the Philippines is insanely over price for what you get. I own two Condo's in Thailand and one land share unit in Vietnam...plus a house on the water in Florida, USA. The cost of condos and stand alone houses are insanely priced in the Philppines. Labor is super cheap here compared to most parts of the world but yet....housing is on par with the United States. How can this be when labor is often 30 to 50x more expensive. I was quoted $5,500 US to spend 2.5 days laying flooring in my home in the US. A new roof cost $20,000 to $30,000. A Metal roof if $40,000 to $150,000 (tesla roof). Brick layers will cost you $500 a day for each worker. A painter will charge you $5,000 to paint your house for three days. How in the world can housing in the Philipines cost the same as the US when the labor to build a house is 30 to 50x more expensive in the US? Makes no sense...so we did not buy a house in the Philippines. I have a friend who owns three condos in Cebu he bought over 10 years ago and he was telling me last week that he can not even sell them for what he paid for them now. He is trying to sell them and just break even and nobody will buy them.
