Love your tutorial, I’ve followed with you making the hexagon cardigan with the hood, entered it in Pennsylvania State Farm show and took a second place. Thank you so much love your tutorials.
Thanks for this video. I am from Perú living in NY and crocheting a lot. Proud of you , i learned how to crochet when I was 8. Now 56 years later i am still crocheting. Thanks again
I was pleased to see this tutorial since I was thinking I'd try to figure out how to add a hood on my own, but it's hard to express how excited I was to learn about the stacked single crochet in place of a turning chain! It looks so much better, I'll probably rarely use turning chains from now on. Thank you for the great tutorials.
@@chloechew988snap. Lost count the number of times I’ve watched it. My hood is a bit wonky, so I’m just winging it now. As my dad used to say “ a blind man would be glad to see it” , but looking at it make it two men. 😂
Miss Kelsie, you rock. Thanx to you, I have just made my first sweater with hood and on to my second for my other granddaughter. Couldn't have down it without you, girl. Stay safe and keep on crocheting!
Господи, ваши творения это просто вау.. Давно вяжу, но никогда не могла понять, что хочу саязать, попадались ужасные схемы. Завтра же бегу за пряжей, у вас всё ясно и понятно!!! 😃😃😃
Omg this is arriving at the perfect time, I am literally currently halfway through making a granny cardigan based on your previous video and was planning on winging it for a hood. Thank you so much!!
I love it!!!! Bless you and thank you for sharing your amazing projects and talent....I think, your granny stitch hooded cropped cardigan is a perfect project for my stash of left-over yarn. Again, thank you!
Ahhh thanks to you I just created my favorite project! Thank you so much for sharing your talents with us. Lots of love for you and your genius creations❣️
Thank you Kelsie! You've saved the day for me yet again even if you didn't even know of the other times 😂. Trying to finish my hexi cardi for my toddler and she LOVES hoods. So excited to give it to her and watch her run around in it 🥰💜
I’m making my first ever project which is the one without the hood and using this exact same yarn!! I’m 70% of the way done and seeing the colors in yours make me sooo excited! ❤️
Your so talented with this. It’s taken over a wk to just get both my arms ready for adding cuffs and joining. Glad I watched- that joining granny slip stitch line was SMOOTH... u must stitch in your sleep! 🤭👏🏻🥰🏴🧡🧡🧡🧡
Thank you for this! I had been following a wonderful pattern I got on Ravelry, but the directions fell apart at the hood. You made it so simple to follow and understand and saved me a headache!
I’m a new subbie from Sydney, Australia! You caught my attention from TikTok. You are so awesome! I crochet a few mins and my arms & hands get sore. You crochet so fast! 🤩🤩🤩
“No sew type of gal.” “I still need to weave in my ends, we’ll just ignore that.” 😂 this is my kind of tutorial. So helpful though, really easy to follow
I saw a supreme hexagon sweater and wanted to make it but couldn't find ANY pattern and then I saw your hexagon cardigans and they are PERFECT. Can we get a tutorial on hexagon sweaters as well PLEASE......
So far ive manage to successfully make 2 hexagon caridgans following your other tutorial. Next hexi-cardi i make im def going to try doing this hood on it! great video !!!
Wow! Your so talented! I wanna learn how to make a sweater with a hoodie! I'm going to try out ur videos and pray I can get this done! Lol Ty so much for all your videos! Can't wait to get started 😁🌻💛
I started watching your UA-cam videos you are so awesome I love your cardigans you've been crocheting they look so easy thank you for sharing your videos
hey kelsie huge fan alert ‼️ i’m praying you respond to comments 😅 i finished my cropped cardigan and just saw this tutorial for the hood but i already completed three rows of single crochets around my cardigan . Is it possible i can still make the hood despite the single crochet border? ( please respond i really want to know THANK YOUU❤) lovely tutorials btw
So my hood ended up being super deep (goes over my entire face) and I think that's because I added more rows to the back of the cardigan than you did. How would you recommend adjusting the hood pattern for that situation? Thanks ❤
Great tutorial. I'm working on a cardigan that is split in two colors vertically so I'm gonna have to experiment to figure out a way to adapt this in a way that makes it symmetrical. I can't have a single crochet in the center because it can't be both colors at the same time. I'll figure something out.
Thank you adding the hood to the cardigan. Can you make a pattern for a bomber jacket? I like the way you crochet, instead of SEWING, things together. Thanks again! I am working on my cardigan right now!
I love this tutorial! Especially that it’s not a pointy hood! I’ve been wanting to add a hood to my first ever hexi cardi, but couldn’t quite figure it out. Thank you! How did you determine at what point you started the decreases for the rounding of the hood? Thank you again for your work! 🦋
Hello! I absolutely love this tutorial, its so helpful and easy to follow. Thank you for sharing your knowledge! I know you have provided a link to the yarn you used, but it isn't working for me, maybe as its an old video, perhaps the yarn is no longer available, but i wondered by chnace, if you had the name or brand of the yarn you used? Thank you so much!
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I am making a baby sized Hexagon cardigan, but there were no directions for the hood that is pictured, so I was stumped.
love this! can the same method be used for your granny pullover? i've started making it and would love to add a hood but i'm not sure how to account for the closed front :)
I am a teacher and take it from me……..YOU ARE A BORN TEACHER! Brava!
Love your tutorial, I’ve followed with you making the hexagon cardigan with the hood, entered it in Pennsylvania State Farm show and took a second place. Thank you so much love your tutorials.

11:19 row three
13:24 row four
god bless u for the years to come
I was pleased to see this tutorial since I was thinking I'd try to figure out how to add a hood on my own, but it's hard to express how excited I was to learn about the stacked single crochet in place of a turning chain! Me too! 😂😂
