Was about to say it's a rebroadcast.. the original is still up on UA-cam with the original open and the full HOUR , but in four parts...this rebroadcast is edited down for time for PBS.. The twist here is i didn't know they rebroadcasted them. I did see the newer space themed episodes on PBS around 1985, the funding and quality was down from when it was on CBS. Great quality and great post.

Green jeans.(and the Burger King guy from the 1970s commercial.(… all the same guy….( as a kid I always wondered why Mr. Green jeans was on and then captain kangaroo read after and then I realized it was the same actor playing the two different parts and then the commercial come on and it was the same guy in the Burger King commercial in the 70s with the crown all the same guy

It’s supposed to be creepy, but she’s not a cannibal woman. Even if the reader sees the connection with the cemetery, she is naive and assumes it’s an animal bone that she can use for soup. I wish we didn’t have this modern proclivity to identify the sinister in everything in order to build ourselves up.

Captain Kangaroo changed the theme song in their later years of broadcast. I know for sure that all of the PBS re-releases had the newer song.

This was from a 1976 show that was re-shown on PBS. They changed the open from the CBS shows due to copyright issues.
