@CmoneyGarage
great video bro, bout to refresh my front suspension on my GS. This was helpful and good to watch.
🙌🏾🙏🏾
New suspension set up looking so clean 🔥
Definitely does, should feel super good too.
@@CmoneyGarage what aluminum radiator is that btw?
4 Row from eBay, no brand name.
Wouldn't it be the same to get mevotech on rockauto then getting the figs
It should be but I've heard of people not getting what they ordered from rockauto, I guess sometimes they send you what's available
That turbo and suspension bouta link up crazy
They are working in perfect harmony...👌🏾
I'm waiting on that brake booster video
In the works...should be done sometime next week
Very nice instructional video!
🙏

So the caster arm you call “trailing arm”, I’ve heard it called other names too, very confusing ordering parts. 😊
Most parts have a picture for identification, that should help with order. As far as the name i guess everyone calls them what they think they are.
What happened to Knocking out the upper control arm bushings? Thats what I tuned in to see because mine are bad. I have a press but the outer part of the bushing is as wide as the arm itself as I'm sure you know. So pressing a New bushing in isn't a problem but getting the old ones out is . Can you tell me how you got the 4 bushings out of the upper control arms? Thanks
I purchased new arms because my ball joints were done. I held them in a vice at a slight angle and used an air hammer to push them out, because they were new arms it didn't make as much work as the lower arm.
@@CmoneyGaragethe way you pressed in the upper control arm bushing…. is that the same way you had it in the vice to air hammer it OUT?
I like the work you putting down need to ask a question I have gs six cylinder can put more power to it it’s not no jz motor mines a 2006
That's the 3.0 v6...those can be mod there isn't too much aftermarket parts but the basics are available, cold air, exhaust, tune
Beautiful car man 🤝 how are the bushings treating you after some miles?
My car is due for a full refresh and these strong flex kits look appealing, though there aren’t many reviews on them yet.
Thanks man🙏🏾
The bushing are working great, zero complaints, I even got the stiffer yellow ones and the ride quality it not horrible. I would definitely recommend them.
That’s good to know, appreciate you getting back to me.
I noticed you put in the description you did the upper arms off the figs website. Did you leave the new bushings that came with those in or did you replace those with the SF ones too?
I did replace the new bushing with the StrongFlex bushings
How many miles you got on the car looking cleaaaan
Body has about 160k...Engine and Front Suspension are fresh
More gs300 video
Say less....🫡
After burning the rubber for the lower control arm did you have to chisel in or cut the metal sleeve so you can hammer it out with the socket?
No, I just hammer with the socket
@@CmoneyGarage thank you
How’d you do the radius arms??
Heat and air hammer (hammer and chisel will do the job too)
What kind of paint did you use for the control arms?
Just some hi-temp engine spray from the autoparts store
have you heard any squeaking since installing these bushings?
Not at all and the ride quality is so much better....I'm super happy with them.
I need to do this too, but i think imma powdercoat everything too. How did u end up with a 60 and a 65mm bushing in the radius arms? That shit looks fresh af tho wit the 🇯🇲 colors! Good vid!
Powdercoat will definitely hold up better.....I think the pervious owner changed the arm and put a 65 he probably didn't even know there were 2 different sizes. 🫡🙏🏾
@@CmoneyGaragedid that side ever feel or sound dodgy before you found out it was wrong?
Imma just get junkyard arms, except the uppers, and try to coat em myself, so I can still drive while I'm doing it.
Naw never noticed any difference, If wasn't changing the bushings o would have never known.
Its front subframe bushings? I need to know on my gs430
It's not subframe bushing but the other components connected to the Subframe, upper/Lower control arms, Radius arms, ball joints, inner/Outer Tierod ends,SwayBar EndLinks.
are they still going strong any shaking or nosies ?
All good, zero issues so far.
