Came here looking for the difference between Select Linked and Select Linked All. Video comes close but doesn't connect all the dots: Select Linked(L) is an additive select from the mesh the mouse is over/close to, regardless of what's already selected. If the mouse isn't close enough to the mesh, nothing is selected. In meshes with multiple parts, this can result in the wrong thing being added to the selection. Select Linked All(Ctrl+L) will select the geometry connected to the current selection(s), regardless of where the mouse is.
That UV selection tool looks really handy, gonna give it a try sometimes to see how it works (I'm terrible at UV unwrapping and making seams). Thanks :)

Im gonna respond to this comment, so I'll be able to find it (and the video) faster, should I ever forget about the Select Linked All hotkey/function
