What a great two part adventure! Seems like the best ones are spur of the moment and things always go sideways but that is what it takes to make it special. I really enjoyed your banter back and forth. What a difference in the area that was reforested 15 years previously. I vote "yay" for the GoPro shots from the helmet but in a more sparing use. The area you visited looked beautiful. I love to watch other fellow Newfoundland UA-camrs. You may enjoy my video coming out on Sunday evening about my moose / vehicle collision in front of the Foxtrap weigh scales..... I look forward to your off grid cabin video.......Take care, Bluefin.

Thanks. I’ll definitely do more helmet cam and believe it or not that’s about 1/4 of the trip. But I agree to shorten it up I tend to fast forward lol. And I just subscribed I’ll check your videos out a little later this week when I get back from my trip 👍

Right on nice time in the woods with the wife! And last video you where asking about the small stove. I've never had that much problem only time is when the can of fuel is to cold it doesn't burn good. And for the can freezing up I've had that happen a couple of time it's worse with a big frying pan or pot because the heat deflects of the bottom and hits the chamber where the can is and it's kind of like propane it's a cold gas so you have to heat up your stove slow and it should work good. 👍

Originally from that area and familiar with that country. I spent quite a bit of time there as a child and teen.
Great video. Brought back some good memories. Thanks

Great video! I was back there last week! Always a beautiful spot to visit especially in the fall with all those fall colours on the hill across the river! Cabin owners in that area calls it going to the “Red Barn”.

made many trips up here in the past , We refer to this place along side the Terra Nova River as Pinsents. When you came to the first opening which was one beautiful grassy field use to be a large red barn. Not sure that maybe why the also called it red barrens..hehehe Thanks for the look around..D

Been to all that country up there, beautiful.
I got a Polaris 500 HD and I’ve gotten 125 miles when the gas light come on if that’s any indication of what you can get out of a tank of gas on your sxs. As always great vid and thanks for sharing.
