    Description (more): This part contains a large number of stock shots of the life in the big cities of West Java. Successively we see a.o.: mail and passenger transportation by KLM (Royal Dutch Airline) and KNILM (Royal Dutch Indies Airline), a.o. with the Zilverreiger (Great White Egret) - street footage of Bandoeng with a.o. villa Isola and hotel Homann, but also other important builings in the city - men, women and horses wash themselves (or are washed) in the Molenvliet in Batavia - signpost near Malang - street footage of cars and trams in Batavia, a.o. of Molenvliet, Uitkijk, Waterlooplein, Koningsplein and Pasar Boe - striking buildings in and around the capital, like the Portugese church, house Rustenburg, The Land Archive, hotel Des Indes and palace Rijswijk - an Indonesian funeral procession.
