I had so much fun w this whole collection of molds this yr making ornaments. I used clear baubles from Dollar Tree & made several vintage looking ornaments w some decorative rice papers. Uses are endless! Yours are beautiful!
I love them all so much but I must say my favorite was the green patina and copper skinny one for sure .. I love rusty junk lol have a beautiful day its snowing here in Utah at the moment☃️❄️☃️
I'm so shocked that no one else has done these. They're stunning. I'd make a bowlful and display them. They truly look so old and perfect. Erin, this is over the moon amazing.
Many stockists have already done videos making these babubles like this but the best part ever is that they ALL finished them out differently by decorating them differently. No two are exactly alike at all. That's what I love about IOD is that you can make Designs and stuff that are truly one of a kind, just like Erin's gorgeous pieces 😍
@Charlotte D Like I mentioned in an earlier comment, that whole collection is fantastic! I made a bunch of beautiful vintage inspired ornaments for my "sister"-in-law w these. The mold w the snowflakes is just out of this world gorgeous...& the reindeers too! I used baubles from Dollar Tree. They are a few other folks on here who have used these molds for ornaments, but most are from like Turkey, Germany & other countries. If u haven't tried these before, u really should. They're lots of fun! Merry Christmas
@@kellihull7600 I think there may be a few shops in the US that have that mould. Have you been to the IOD Find a Retailer page? ironorchiddesigns.com/retailers/
Oh Erin... these turned out so stunning 😍 I must say, if I had to choose a favorite, it would have to be the copper one‼️ I mainly only use the iron and copper patinas. I really love using the copper patina paint with both the green and blue activator spray. I always end up coming back and adding more paint to get my desired look as well even when I use it on large pieces of furniture. Thank you so very much for sharing these with us, Erin ❣️ ❤️
Oh my goodness....definetely going to get some one of the iron patina to try. I absolutely love it. I am guessing when using the Amaing resin you don't use cornstarch in the moulds?
When you laid the string down it looked single but looked doubled when you were painted. Was this a trick of my eye? I was wondering how to get it to hang. Lovely patina paint!
Erin.. do you think ribbon will be too heavy to put in these and may sink to the bottom and show up on the other side of the mould? I did buy jewlery bails to do this with also.
Sorry Tina. I’m not sure where to get them in the UK or USA (as I’m in Australia) but maybe go to the IOD website to the Find a Retailer or Stockist section. Most should have a website you can browse to see if they have any left.

They are amazing! It's hard to believe they are resin and not made of metal. Thanks for the tip on partial pour. Good to know ❤️

Beautiful ornaments!
Thank you! 😊
I so much want this mould, but can't find it to buy anywhere here in UK. I love your ideas with this mould.
Thanks so much. 😊
I wonder if the grunge would look good on the copper finished project instead of adding more copper? It looked great but I just wondered.
Oh Good idea. I’ll have to try that next time 😊 thanks for watching 🙏
Oh my goodness....definetely going to get some one of the iron patina to try. I absolutely love it. I am guessing when using the Amaing resin you don't use cornstarch in the moulds?
That’s right. You don’t need cornstarch when using the resin 😊
Thank you..
These came out so beautiful, do you have to use a respirator with the resin?
Thanks so much. I don’t but I make sure that I’m in a well ventilated area. 😊
When you laid the string down it looked single but looked doubled when you were painted. Was this a trick of my eye? I was wondering how to get it to hang. Lovely patina paint!
Thanks so much. The string was already doubled over and tied but it’s very thin so it probably did look like just a single thread. 😊
@@TheProvincialFarmhouse thanks for your kindness in responding!

That’s a good point. Might be best to use the attachment instead. 😊

Question! How do you apply the clear coat???? Looks like a spray bottle?? If so, what is the mixture ratio???
I added some of Dixie Belle’s Clear coat to a spray bottle with the same amount of water. 50% clear coat 50% water 😊
