I just feel like everyone in 2k is so glued to the meta of 2k every year. Like bro just make your own build and enjoy your style of play. I dont really have any meta builds per say, but i just build my characters like nba players rather old or new and play to my liking. Everyone has a preference and just respect their decision.

Like it or not, that was why 2K20 was enjoyable because you had a big number of META builds then you had all these rare builds that were also viable. Variety is a key to replay value for a game

gotta admit 2k rlly made the game more diverse in terms of scoring. it’s rlly fun being able to score w layups over dunks and midrange over threes more consistently
People who have skill can still dunk at will so dunking is still great to use if you can time the meter
Instead of three hunting I personally middy hunt, it’s so automatic.

This is the one thing 2K did right. There is definitely more variety in play style. I personally dont rim run this year, i use floaters and mid range shots. And i see a lot of people with different play styles this year
It’s a thing of beauty. Particularly in Rec and 5v5 Pro Am, you really get to put basketball IQ to work and figure out another teams style of play.
It’s not even called rim running… people who can’t guard slashing gave it a horrible name to discredit people who slash

@@WyoRiq you do know running to the rim is more common in real life that going 6/6 from 3 right ? Anybody can shoot easily in the game… timing the dunk meter when someone is sitting in the paint is difficult even with high ratings

Everyone is using 3and d builds. A 6’8 with crazy defense, post scoring, and a 80 3. When you stop their regular offense they post score you the rest of the game

The only thing I seriously hate about this game is these guards wit 45 standing dunk getting standing dunk animations. I’m still enjoying this game though but I had a great park record and I’m mad annoyed they just reset it.

These meter dunks are way too overpowered, don't get me wrong i love dunks but you dont even need to time them right and they go in because the green release bar is always halfway full. Even in 2k23 they werent this overpowered. They are literally broken now. it's crazy!!

Meter dunks were way worse in 23. Before the patch in 24 they were practically not viable and even after the patch they are better but the system is still flawed.

What’s the meter dunk logic? Because I never had an issue dunking with the meter until this year. Bar is always a pinch of green with high dunks and my takeover. Makes no sense

I think 98 pass is better because it’s cheaper and only badge you get for 99 is hof bail out but it’s a big difference from lower pass

Making builds is an investment now a days. You make one and you deep in and you want to try another build but you know it going to be a hefty cost, either time or money smh
