Sir , we need to put off o2 as It can cause combustion , but when the patient is on mechanical ventilator (which is itself always connectedto an 02 source) , then we can't disconnect it ..won't it cause combustion then?!
Can we shock the patient with lead placed on chest Is there any problem if we shock the patient with lead placed Are ther any chance of short circuit if we shock with lead placed either of moniter lead or defibrillator machine lead . Is ther any chance of shock to oneself if we charge the paddle( but not press the shock button ) and touched it . Reply sir .
I've already watched this video(another commendable job done by your team 👏👏). I was just concerned about people who'd only watch this video. Keep up the good work. 👍
What's meant by shockable rhythm? Green lead is placed over apex. Should the paddle (to be placed over apex) placed over the green lead or by the side of the green lead? Does the pt need to be intubated during delivery of shocks? Any fluids to be run during delivery of shocks?
Thanks a lot Sir very helpful video for every Medical Health Department 🙏🙏

Sir how to confirm whether device has been adequately charged (any specific duration or indicator)
Is it safe to keep the patient on the iron bed while giving defibrillator
Thankyou sir.super explained sir
Your teaching is very good sir, easily we r understandable
Tq u sir for the informative part

Thank you for your effort👍
Thanks u so much sir
Good Explen sir
Thankyou sir.

Thank you so much sir for your wonderful explanation❤❤❤❤❤❤
thanks a lot
But in cardiac arrest, we usually give maximum 200 J in biphasic device, not 270.. Can you please clarify?
200 recommended if in doubt give the maximum dose available in the machine.in this machine it's 270 that's the reason why it was told 270
sir why do we have to disconnect from oxygen , how to do it if hes intubated
Sorry, how to charge the device?
Thank you sir
Class clear ane.nannai manasilavunund
Thanks dr
Can we shock in modes other than paddle mode?
Good morning sir
Sir please make a video on the how calculate the dose of adr ndr dobutamine
Thank you sir
If patient is intubated and we have to defibrillate it
Do we have to disconnect ventilator
No
Then won't it also cause combustion as the ventilator is connected to an oxygen source always?!!
Please endeavor to speak slower and clearer.
JazakAllah
Thank you sir it's really understable
Excellent
Whats biphasic vs monophasic
Sir, what is the use of syncronize button??
Please check the video on how to use Defibrillator
Can we use defibrillator for pacing, if pacing leads are not available?
If in the defibrillator the pacing mode is available you can use
Amazing explainination
Thankyou Sir 🙏
Excellent presentation dr.
As per AHA only "pulseless" VT and VF are shockable rhythms. I think that needed to be specified, otherwise a very well presented video.

Long live sir...u just ace it....
Found first doctor so demonstrative
Why O2 should be removed /stop O2 source????
To prevent combustion
@@AETCMEmergencyMedicineoh.. thank you 🙏
Nice one ..pts chest must be shaved ,👍
In cardiac arrest no time to shave, if for planned cardioversion we can shave

Shockable rhythm in Cardiac arrest VT/VF
Side of green lead not over
No need for Intubation for defibrillation
No fluids requied
@@AETCMEmergencyMedicine Sir the reply is incomplete I feel.
Side of the green lead not over.......
Darling, doesn’t matter. The paddle has to be in line with cardiac axis. Anywhere on the left should do it.
I have so many questions
Hello sir one doubt, for pediatric cases how much joules should be used or any criteria is there?
2j/kg
@@AETCMEmergencyMedicine thanks
Can we give defibrillation for an intubated pt?
Yes
