Our goats go out on fescue this time of year. That is what is under that brown stemmy grass in the video. They won't eat much of that stuff. These will get moved to another pasture with plenty of green stockpiled fescue after the first of the year. We have used some protein tubs but they are too expensive. Can feed some cubes or ddg is much more cost effective or even buy alfalfa and feed every 3 days.
WOW AMAZING VIDEO VERY EDUCATIONAL THAT'S A LOT OF GOATS 👍❤️👍
Hope they sold well for ya. We enjoy watching and the reports. Did you say there's another way to watch? Hoping to take some to Norwood
Link is in the description.
Thanks 😊
What's the day of sale at Norwood? 10am?
2nd and 4th Saturday.
Do you ever have to put out a protein supplement when feeding hay and the goats are browseing that dead grass?
If so, what?
Cotton seed?
