Yes, I think Maggie can talk 100%, but she's keeping her ability to talk to herself. We've seen her talk before multiple times in the show, so that just adds more proof and facts that she can talk.
Plus when Maggie talked for the first Homer said don’t talk ever or something like that and she probably thought well I guess I won’t talk then 😂 but I’ll just say a few words here and there but not to y’all! 😂
I’d love to see an episode diving into this topic. Maybe even a dream sequence with Maggie meeting five cartoon characters who started off as silent or in the background but became main staples for their shows and franchises once they found their voice
Maggie and Homer relationship always makes me cry when they focus on it, it's way to wholesome to not talk about it, it's make me cry when you just mention it.
I would love to see an episode taking place ten years in the future where we get to see ten/eleven year old Maggie driving her teacher crazy. She is really gifted and I’d love to see Lisa being reminded she’s not the smartest Simpson. Their rivalry would be interesting.
I like that idea, but there was an episode like that in the present where Maggie is declared the smartest Simpson, and Lisa spirals, because intelligence is her identity.
First off little know fact Maggie's 4 lisa is 8 and bart is 10 some times Maggie's 1 Lisa's 5 and barts like episodes where it's before roasting on a open fire
I've never appreciated Maggie when I was younger, but I think she's brilliant. Very underrated. I think the bond between Homer and Maggie is so sweet. The first word episode when she says "Daddy" and the plaque at Homer's job that makes up with pictures of her and says, "Do it for her." Definitely do a video on Homer's and Maggie's bond.
I know there's a good chance they'll forget about this by the next season due to the status quo but I would love it if they showed Maggie talking more like she did in season 34's finale to show that she's growing a little, even if it's only a couple words
Imo, I would love a Stewie and Maggie crossover episode where Stewie over hears Maggie talk for the first time and spends the whole episode trying to expose her secret to her family and Maggie finally proving how smart and resilient she can truly be. Great Simpsons theory, Lydia! 🙂👍💙
I just want to take some time to say that “Thank you” for giving us more Simpsons content to consume so the void caused by the lack of new episodes on Sundays when the show is on its hiatuses can be filled. You’re such an amazingly talented, spunky, and knowledgeable person; keep up the great work! ❤
Yes she is because I'm the future she becomes a rockstar and never dies because, she becomes one with the stars (literally she becomes part of the stars)
The pacifier sound was something my dad taught me and called it a 'chuckle' for some strange reason (sadly I will never know since he's gone now), but hearing Matt do it brings a smile to my face.
1:40 Oh I'm so glad you referenced that video. Nancy Cartwright herself has her own UA-cam channel which obviously you know since you found the footage, but maybe some people who might read this comment don't know. It's pretty fun to watch she doesn't upload often but she does like to do the voices of her characters especially from the clip shown here which is a lot of fun
I think Maggie can talk, but first no one hears her and later they ignore her, which made her bitter and she doesn’t talk than anymore, to be honest I would love to see an non canon episode, where she would talk the whole thing, but I also like her episodes where she don’t talk it would just be a nice change that’s why
Maggie may not say much, but she always has the best little moments. If you've run out of video ideas I'd love to see an analysis on Apu's Octuplets or Ling Bouvier, how they've aged and the inconsistensies surrounding them.
Yes, because she says daddy. That's all the proof we need. Also she talks in a therapy session, but nobody hears her so she says she'll never talk again. When she's older she tries to speak multiple times, but something always stops her last second. She is sort of confirmed to be both a pop singer that has a constellation shaped after her. This means she's actually a god.
9:28 Matt Groening said that the sequel to The Simpsons Movie would also serve as the series finale, and sadly, that's yet to be decided. I know Stephen Hillenburg did the same thing with Spongebob, but at least he had a reason to keep the show going afterward.
Maggie is such a sweetheart and has inspired such wonderful episodes! I'm glad as the series went on, Maggie would'nt turn out likw her many voice actresses, such as Courtney ( As Told by Ginger) or Grandma Addams! But maybe James Earl Jones as it the show had INDEED become a disturbing universe!!!😂❤
Maggie's established intelligence makes me wish to this very day she had the plot with Stewie in The Simpsons Guy. Yeah there was stuff I liked about his plot with Bart, but it would've been so cool to see them interact, maybe get suspicious of each other and have a Mexican standoff (we know they're both skilled with guns).
Hey. I think Maggie can talk,She chooses not too. A silent genius. She is sharp with weapons, and single handedly took on the mafia. So yes, do an episode on Home and Maggie please.
I remember Maggie getting stars in the Bible trivia game at the Flanders', so either she talks off-screen and her siblings later forgot, or a couple of the answers were *sucking noise*.
Thank you for this video. And I would watch one with Maggie and Homers bond at focus. One of my favorite moments is Maggie saying 'Daddy' and dancing in her bed. But you know what I would love to see? An episode with Maggie growing up as the main topic. Just like 'Barthood' and 'Mr. Lisa's Opus'. Her finally sharing her voice could be the plot of it.
9:48 I remember when I first watched this episode on Hulu when it was new. I always thought her voice sounded familiar there. Jodie Foster no wonder why it sounded familiar. I had seen a lot of movies with her growing up in the '90s and as a teenager in the 2000s.
Like Stewie she can talk but nobody understands her as again shes a baby. Stewie talks in full pargraphs but Lois and Peter dont understand him but the kids can and so can Brian and other adults.
Maggie has always been my favourite character since I was a kid. I remember when I was three in 1991 (one of the few vivid memories as a toddler), my mom dressed me up as Maggie for Halloween.
@Guillem Caldart Deu Most likely, He might have given some of his powers to her, allowing her to talk, dance, communicate with animals, have more intelligences, and more.
Maggie can talk, debated over it for a while, and after finally deciding to tell the family , chose to be mute because nobody paid attention. There are constant future scenes where she gets snubbed or cut off whenever she tries. Do we don’t know if she committed to that vow or not. 🤷♂️
She is so smart funny and adorable! I love it when she actually talks and makes cute little sounds, aside from sucking. It is so sweet when she says Daddy at that one episode, and it is just so surprising hear her speak and in the moments and many voices that she does.
Maggie is so adorable and so cute when she tries to talk for the first time in this show which is why she's my favorite but she can a darker side just like Sideshow Bob which is the most amazing experience threw out of the entire simpson episodes thank you for doing this video about her✌
My favorite Maggie talking moment is the "Daddy" moment after Homer leaves the room... However, I would love to see a video on "And Maggie Makes Three" I actually worked night shift when my daughter was born and I printed off a "do it for her" template I found on the internet and put my little girls pics on it and stuck it on my computer desk
Yeah my first niece was born in Canada while living with us due to her mom's immigration troubles (met ans married an American while on student visa but had to leave when it expired) so it was quite hard for my sister to hear her say her name instead of "mama" Even though we all tried to encourage her to say mama when referring to my sister. I think she would say both actually but once she moved to the States full time she switched to just saying mama or mommy.
The idea of a video showing the evolution of Homer’s relationship with Maggie is a good idea and as I’m Canadian would you try to make videos about Chilly Beach on your other channel please.
I would love to see her in a future scene singing or talking since everytime in the future she goes to speak but is cut off (Especially because how she is portrayed as a rock superstar)
The baby translator episode randomly came to my mind the other day despite It being about 20 years since I've last watched It I looked up clips online and thought how amazing It was to have Danny Devito translate Maggie Simpson "I want what the dogs eating"
Yes, I think Maggie can talk 100%, but she's keeping her ability to talk to herself. We've seen her talk before multiple times in the show, so that just adds more proof and facts that she can talk.
Fuck captain obvious that's what the videos about you go captain obvious you saved the day again way to go.... My hero Captain Obvious everybody
Maggie can you say I have a child 😂
Plus when Maggie talked for the first Homer said don’t talk ever or something like that and she probably thought well I guess I won’t talk then 😂 but I’ll just say a few words here and there but not to y’all! 😂
I got to review this comment
I’d love to see an episode diving into this topic. Maybe even a dream sequence with Maggie meeting five cartoon characters who started off as silent or in the background but became main staples for their shows and franchises once they found their voice
Maggie and Homer relationship always makes me cry when they focus on it, it's way to wholesome to not talk about it, it's make me cry when you just mention it.
Maggie saying daddy warms people's hearts. Definitely do a video of Maggie and Homer's bond.😊
I 2nd that request!
I 3rd this ❤
I 4th it❤
I fifth this.
i sixth this
I would love to see an episode taking place ten years in the future where we get to see ten/eleven year old Maggie driving her teacher crazy. She is really gifted and I’d love to see Lisa being reminded she’s not the smartest Simpson. Their rivalry would be interesting.

Me too ❤
First off little know fact Maggie's 4 lisa is 8 and bart is 10 some times Maggie's 1 Lisa's 5 and barts like episodes where it's before roasting on a open fire
Maggie has some of the best visual gags in the show.
I sure hope we can have a future episode of Maggie talking while going on another adventure.
I know there's a good chance they'll forget about this by the next season due to the status quo but I would love it if they showed Maggie talking more like she did in season 34's finale to show that she's growing a little, even if it's only a couple words

Homer and Maggie's relationship is so cute! I'd love for you to do a video about them.
Agree we should do an episode with this two
Me too
Maggie is probably the simpson character that has the brightest future.
Given she ends up being an eternal star diety that's most definitely true.
I just want to take some time to say that “Thank you” for giving us more Simpsons content to consume so the void caused by the lack of new episodes on Sundays when the show is on its hiatuses can be filled. You’re such an amazingly talented, spunky, and knowledgeable person; keep up the great work! ❤
Hi
I'm a big fan do you have any syndication prints of Family Guy?
Yes, please! Do an episode on Maggie's and Homer's relationship.
Maggie is invincible
yeah
yeah
Yes she is because I'm the future she becomes a rockstar and never dies because, she becomes one with the stars (literally she becomes part of the stars)
The pacifier sound was something my dad taught me and called it a 'chuckle' for some strange reason (sadly I will never know since he's gone now), but hearing Matt do it brings a smile to my face.

"You mean it's not Magaggie's birthday?" "Homer I made a special cake for you to ruin"
Also you just know the whole Jodie Foster/Elizabeth Taylor thing will be a pub question one day (if it hasn't been already)
Maggie may not say much, but she always has the best little moments.
If you've run out of video ideas I'd love to see an analysis on Apu's Octuplets or Ling Bouvier, how they've aged and the inconsistensies surrounding them.

I never realized so many actors have played Maggie! Amazing job as always, Lydia! Definitely, please do the Homer and Maggie video!
Maggie can talk but no one listens she’s just like me so adorable
No gee thanks captain obvious you save the day again 😄
As a dad with a 1 year old girl I would love to see the video on Homer and Maggie. When she said Daddy it melted my heart 🩶
I didn’t know Matt Groening did Maggie’s pacifier sound until I watched this video.
"Maggie talk. Maggie talk. Nobody listen? Maggie never talk again."
0:10 a handful? no. it's only a spoonful
I would LOVE to see a dedicated video to Maggie and Homer’s relationship!
Maggie will always be my favorite.❤. Yes to a Homer and Maggie video.
11:47 "One of my three kids loves me" sounds like my dad lol
I love the look on Maggie’s face when Marge says that her shooting Mr burns was an accident
I love your videos so much keep up the good work woman
Maggie's established intelligence makes me wish to this very day she had the plot with Stewie in The Simpsons Guy. Yeah there was stuff I liked about his plot with Bart, but it would've been so cool to see them interact, maybe get suspicious of each other and have a Mexican standoff (we know they're both skilled with guns).
Hey.
I think Maggie can talk,She chooses not too.
A silent genius.
She is sharp with weapons, and single handedly took on the mafia.
So yes, do an episode on Home and Maggie please.
Love the videos Lydia as much as I love the Simpsons
Great video as usual bestie 😁
This is indeed a disturbing universe.
My favourite Maggie Moment is The Seemingly Never Ending Story waving to the bats and her finger gun.
i got emotional with this one, maggie is such a sweety x
I'll love a full video on homer and maggie's relationship!
Keep up the good work 👍
I remember Maggie getting stars in the Bible trivia game at the Flanders', so either she talks off-screen and her siblings later forgot, or a couple of the answers were *sucking noise*.
The toons that are the quietest leave the biggest impact later on
Thank you for this video. And I would watch one with Maggie and Homers bond at focus.

But you know what I would love to see? An episode with Maggie growing up as the main topic. Just like 'Barthood' and 'Mr. Lisa's Opus'. Her finally sharing her voice could be the plot of it.
Id love a full episode of Homer and Maggies relationship, because its precious and i am brand new here but love your videos!!
1:12
Maggie: Good night
Well the fact there are voice actors for every single character that's reasonable
Thanks Lydia! I no idea Maggie has been voiced so many people.
Maggie has always been my favourite character since I was a kid. I remember when I was three in 1991 (one of the few vivid memories as a toddler), my mom dressed me up as Maggie for Halloween.
I love the "Daddy". The voice is soooooo cute! It brings joy\love into my heart every time I hear it.
I definitely will watch a spin off ,of the Simpsons with Maggie as the main character actually talking with Bart & Lisa with other characters
I think Maggie is omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent.
So she's basically God
@Guillem Caldart Deu Most likely, He might have given some of his powers to her, allowing her to talk, dance, communicate with animals, have more intelligences, and more.
5:19 she may be a accident, but she was definitely not a regret ❤
Maggie can talk, debated over it for a while, and after finally deciding to tell the family , chose to be mute because nobody paid attention.
There are constant future scenes where she gets snubbed or cut off whenever she tries. Do we don’t know if she committed to that vow or not. 🤷♂️

Homer: She loves me. She loves me! ONE OF MY THREE KIDS LOVES ME!! WHEE!!
I would love to see a video on Homer & Maggie's bond. Despite how he acts Homer does love his family.
This is part of what makes Maggie the best Simpsons character and my favourite
Maggie is probably my favourite simpsons character because even though she doesn’t talk she shows so much emotion
Silent protagonist have always been the best, all the way since the begining of film media itself with charlie Chaplin and buster Keaton as examples
Always brighten my days greetings from Ecuador
YES FINALLY ANOTHER VID!!
ow its been 15 years since the Simpsons movie... Im starting to feel old
She is so smart funny and adorable! I love it when she actually talks and makes cute little sounds, aside from sucking. It is so sweet when she says Daddy at that one episode, and it is just so surprising hear her speak and in the moments and many voices that she does.
Maggie is so adorable and so cute when she tries to talk for the first time in this show which is why she's my favorite but she can a darker side just like Sideshow Bob which is the most amazing experience threw out of the entire simpson episodes thank you for doing this video about her✌
I Just finished reading your book!! It's so awesome congrats ❤❤❤

I think she would say both actually but once she moved to the States full time she switched to just saying mama or mommy.
Truth be told, I would love to see a video all about the bond between Homer and Maggie, because I think they're so sweet.
Definitely need to see a Maggie and Homer video. 💗
The idea of a video showing the evolution of Homer’s relationship with Maggie is a good idea and as I’m Canadian would you try to make videos about Chilly Beach on your other channel please.
4:31
That would be awesome, the evolution of homer and Maggie’s relationship
I would love to see her in a future scene singing or talking since everytime in the future she goes to speak but is cut off (Especially because how she is portrayed as a rock superstar)
Wait Danny Devito was in the Simpsons? I did not know thanks Lydia.
He guessed 3 times
The baby translator episode randomly came to my mind the other day despite It being about 20 years since I've last watched It
I looked up clips online and thought how amazing It was to have Danny Devito translate Maggie Simpson
"I want what the dogs eating"
Maggie died in season three. She was replaced by Dr. Fritz.
Really?!
@@bellathesinger3113 no smh lol
@@bellathesinger3113 that's my theory.
@@tenebrousoul9368 that's not a theory fake fan,you got to have evidence
@@adamk-paxlogan7330Sucks nice gatekeeping, champ.
Maggie does have the ability to talk whenever she feels like it!
Puffless is my favorite Maggie episode, it's so adorable!
While it's not exactly talking, Season 31's "Screenless" shows that Maggie knows how to use sign language.
I'd definitely liked to see a video about Maggie and Homer's relationship.
I would love the Homer and Maggie relationship. It's so adorable, my favourite being the Do It For Her 💜
If you love it so much why don't you marry it 💍
Maggie Simeon is one of my favorite characters
Fun fact: The Simpson kids has a uncle named Hubert Simpson that passed away in one of the Tracey Ullman shorts.
I Love Maggie so much
Absolutely I would love a video about Homer and Maggie! In fact I would like to see a video about Homer with each of the kids
Yes full Homer-Maggie-video, thank you.
All the best episodes revolve around Maggie
The simpsons are actually immortal. In the simpsons guy stewie asks bart how long has the abuse been going on he says 24 years
I would absolutely love a homer/Maggie video
Please do an episode of Maggie and Homer`s relationship
10:15 “Yah!”
(Jesus, what was that gasp from Marge? 0_0)
11:51 “Wheeeeeeee..!”
(Homer literally just did a “Gotta blast” from a jump.)
Maybe dark Simpsons did something to Maggie and she’s too traumatised to talk!🤣😅
best maggie moment when she is getting pascifiers back at the daycare to an edited version of the great escape theme
YES!!!!! Homer and Maggie, plz!!!
I was smiling all the way through. God fucking damnit Maggie is cyoot!
GREAT THE SIMPSON THEORY MAGGIE SIMPSON TALK VIDEO 👍👍👍
Maggie herself said she'll "never talk again" because nobody was listening to her.
My fave Maggie moment was when she shot mr.burns. It was funny bc Maggie can do hard and dangerous stuff.
11:00 😢 "Maggie talk"...?
