thankyou it was hard to find a good video that exaly is good and teaches the right way for 3D coat. i would love to see more of 3d coat for beginners and intermeta
In case you might not know about this option: You can go to "Preferences -> Font Size" and set it to small or smaller to get more space in your UI. At least for me, on a 2k monitor, it gives a lot more air to breath and not use up so much space by the icons/buttons. I personally feel one step smaller should be the default.
Hey man I've started watching your videos lately and even got 3D coat cuz I was interested in using it for making environment assets. I keep sending a mesh from blender to 3dcoat as a voxel mesh and then I give it 64x volume. I try using a stencil on it (it was just some ancient engravings but it just messes up the sculpting and like makes a grid like pattern instead. Would you know how to fix this?

I am having a problem maybe you can help me please?, when using the snake tool, i create a new layer in the SCULPT TREE tab or in the LAYERS tab, and when i make a new spine, 3dcoat automatically change the current selected layer to the one i was using before, so i cannot do it in a separate, is like it doesn't allow me to draw in a new layer, every new thing i draw is set back in the main layer where i start

The navigation thing as far as I can tell...Alt + Middle mouse,Left & right click is for when you are hovering over the model. it just tells 3D Coat "i'm on the model but i just want to navigate, not make changes" give it a try. again thanks for sharing. I'll be looking for future vids from you. subscribed.
Hey man! Theres a link in the description to a google drive that should have all the files. Download the one titled Norris_01.onepagelayout After that in 3dcoat click on window-> restore workspace and select the layout file. If restore workspace doesn’t work try Restore this page layout. Lemme know if this works 👍🏽
@@omardraws Yes like blender has many tutorials... On literally every Tool inside the software... 3Dcoat lacks tutorials that are start to finish. Like building a Ship model, making mistakes, and solving it.
I love 3dcoat default hot keys pretty much
