"What are you doing in my house sir?... you're meant to be social distancing!" This quote killed me 😂
🤣🤣🤣
That one left me bursting out in laughter too 😂
That killed me too! Best line in the sketch 😆👍
@Lucas Gawor sorry, didn't realise a time stamp was important 😂
@Lucas Gawor you will know if you've watched the video though so I didn't think it would be such an issue, sorryyyyyyy
That one kid that actually cares!! bless his heart
I love him!
Yes! I would have been that kid!
Genuinely wish I had been that kid
One time I kept disrupting class and the teacher kept complaining at me. The guy next to me was struggling, partly because of me, so I helped him. He said I explained it better than the teacher.
He's going to Cambridge
Genius idea that the last guy is even wearing his school uniform!
Indeed. 😊😊😊

Quarantine math teacher here. Student dresses up different each class. Dirt bike rider: helmet, jacket, and gloves. Then fisherman: hat, vest, and pole. True story.
Ahhh that's great!
Teaching isn't an easy job in general specially in schools in London.
I already like that student :)
Bless those genius students 😂
We were meant to have a school formal when lockdown started so everyone just rocked up to class in a suit and tie with an (unopened) bottle wine to mess with the teacher on the day
"How do I mute him?"
"It's alt f4 sir"
Lmao
YAasSSS LOLOL
The classic
Oh my goodness. 😂
Someone did that to my math teacher 🤣
"Sir can I go to the toilet" "Kevin your in your own house go whenever you want" *continues group call from the toilet* That's brilliant commitment from Kevin, you can tell who's in Honours 😂
Me: What day is it?
Foil Arms and Hog: *Uploads
Me: Ah so Thursday then
I WAS EXACTLY THE SAME lol
Lol actually true
This is awfully relatable 😂
Same
I thought it was Wednesday
I had a zoom class yesterday where one of my classmates fell asleep while unmuted and snored for about 5 minutes before the prof could figure out how to mute him
Lol
This is the only indication I've had of what actual day of the week it is.
Haha same! I thought it was Wednesday and so when I saw the notification I thought, "An upload on Wednesday?! The heck..."
Ofcourse then I checked the date and now I'm here.
I only just noticed that it’s Thursday purely because of this
@@Alex_Whatareyoudoing it isn't Friday?
apple's lover 😰 am doubting myself now 😂 jk in Ireland its thursday
Mood
It's nuts how they all call him "sir" which is supposed to be super respectful, but then 80% proceed to mess with him...
Its how it is in Secondary school in dublin. Call them sir or mis, and then take the piss out of them
Calling them sir is mandatory
That’s how it works in the UK
I thought this was the case in all English speaking countries? English is my second language, but in highschool in English class we either called the teacher 'Sir' or 'Mr [his name]'.
@@Ace_Up_My_Sleeve Yes, it is. Sir is most common in Australia, Ireland, and the UK, while "teacher" or "Mr/Mrs _______" is more common in the USA. Saying "sir" in the USA makes you sound like a service industry worker or a police officer.
My online classes for uni have consisted of everyone being audio only, the lecturer asking a question into the void and not one person replying. Painfully awkward. 😂
That's exactly how it was when my boss asked why we were underperforming.
I actually covered my camera just in case. No one wants to watch me telecommute from bed. Lol
Had this today in thermodynamics when nobody knew the answer, nobody spoke for about 5 minutes until she restarted the stream thinking there was a problem so we all pretended we couldn't hear her, even when she kept asking if anyone could hear her lol
Well, even in a normal lecture with everybody attending it was the same. Nobody answered questions or dared to ask :)
It's the same in my englisch class
I can so relate to the last kid. He’s just tryna get work done and actually trying to study even if the exams get cancelled but everyone else isn’t taking it seriously and his teachers fed up.
That kid would be a successful and responsible individual one day, bless those like him or strive to be like him
Strange to end without the lads reeling off 20 upcoming gigs.
doomdah.
I know!
@@foilarmsandhog better safe than corona
@SigmaTauri2 Bit more doom than dah at the moment.
I'm glad I got to see your show in Manchester just before all the safety measures had to be taken, the only performers to make me cry from laughter! Hope you are doing fine!
None 😞
Oisíns mother should have made an appearance in this 😂
And Oisin himself, too! 😂 I can already picture his facial expression, silently telling: Somebody Help me, please get my mother out of here so I can follow the lesson! 😦🙄
Yes!!!
Oisín’s mom is a teacher so imagine what giving an online class was like for her.
Only thing missing was the half naked dad walking behind one of the students 😄 One of the school principals here in Finland had to remind the parents to put clothes on when their kids are doing online classes. One of the teachers had gotten an eyeful.. 👀
mutrunen Finns and their saunas ;).
LMAO I never heard of that. Fecking legendary hahaha
How naked where they?
Gold!
Or the other classic, the teach gets up and has no pants on.
Can we just applaud Arms doing everything in one take
Yea that was pretty impressive
So professional 👏
Very clever use of social distancing, considering they have to be apart too and still produce gold!
This one was very funny it didn't even occur to me that they had to write something they could film separately
You're clever!
Mr. O'Rourke to Alan Ryan: I can tell that's a GIF. You're on loop. I've never seen you look so interested in mu class and all your life.

It's genuinely werid seeing adults having such a good understanding of student life.

I want this as a continuing series, with different teachers.
Yes, this needs to happen
I would love to see that
I want to see Oisin and his mum appear in one of these
It really would have just been so awesome, if there were more sketches like that, he's great at playing a teacher, you can literally feel him getting more annoyed with his class. And his students are very fun. It's a pity that Bary and Oishin weren't in his class. Although one of the boys reminds me a lot of Bary. 😂
I’m sorry, is this a sketch or a documentary?
It's a stream
Yes!
Its a visual novel
It's a screen recording
It's hilarious! that's what it is!

Teacher in a tracksuit here - this is hauntingly accurate. I needed a good laugh!
My Maths teacher is a PE teacher and we've never seen him without a tracksuit
This reminds me of the time when i was teaching remotely. One of the students made my voice sound like a chipmunk. It was quite funny in hindsight.
Teacher here, this hit a little too close to home... what a time to be alive! Thanks for the laugh, guys. Love from Italy
That was the longest 4 minutes I’ve ever been through in my life! I actually felt as if I was on online school all over again!
"What you doing in my house Sir, You're meant to be social distancing Sir" God,kills me EVERYTIME. 🤣🤣🤣
You guys almost covered everything here. My students had some of their little siblings next to them, either having their face super close to the camera just staring with their mouth open a bit or having an argument with their sibling.

Yeah she is my English teacher and she really cries when we do FaceTime lessons because she missses is
Mine sent it to us too lol
I work in education support - learning tech, so remote learning is our thing right now. We are doing classes with staff and students. I saw this and collapsed on the floor with laughter. I'm asthmatic. I am not allowed to laugh unless I have a reliever inhaler to hand ... I survived to tell the tale and to share with colleagues. Brilliant. And 31 March 2019 where was I?? Brighton Dome!!
As a teacher who's had to go back to teaching online, I can confirm that this is pretty much 100% how online lessons go!
Why are these guys not on television, their material is absolutely brilliant.
Brilliant lads! I sent it to my math department colleagues, my academic dean, and just about anyone I know who is now teaching online. I teach anthropology, so I much appreciate how you nailed the new culture of teaching!
'I'm working from home so I'm free anytime.' That's so deep
Omg. This why I'm so glad that our school can't do video lessons with the pupils. "Can I go to the toilet, sir?" Hilarious!
#1 on trending‼️ congratulations!!! Cmon Ireland 🇮🇪!
Coronavirus won’t get a look in when it’ll be a stress-induced online maths session that finishes off Mr. O’Rourke
The last kid always has his head perfectly sized and aligned to the teacher's tv antenna. Brilliant!
The poor kid at the end! I feel for him! XP
Hog at the end, melted my heart!
The answer is actually + or - 3 because -3^2 is also 9. Could lose a mark in the exam.
We've all watched this more than once!
One of the best sketches you've done!
I've watched this for 4 times already and I'm still gonna watch it again
I can already tell you that this is every class I’ve had, that one dislike is mr O’Rouke!

Awesome stuff! This is exactly the predicament I am facing as a teacher in South Africa at the moment! Thank you, FAH for the humour in an otherwise very depressing and scary time. Hope you and your loved ones all remain healthy and happy!
This is possibly one of the best and most accurate descriptions of online classes. Teaching in Spain. Cried laughing when I saw it first and now that some classes are back in quarantine I've loved watching it again to help me see the funny side of the madness! Love it!!! Thanks lads!!! 😘😘

The background change ones really got me 😆 I use photos of different rooms of Chateau Fontainebleau during my uni lectures. Maybe I'm be able to get away with using a screenshot of my professor... Thanks for the inspiration, Lads!
Be sure to crop him in next to Louis XIV to really sell your French aristocracy.
It's honestly weird watching grown adults having such a good knowledge of how a students life during lockdown is
They may have children (or most likely have friends & family who have children), may also have friends who are teachers.
I love that everyone is watching The Lord of the Rings.
So does Peter Jackson. Here in Middle Earth the set is always still up, ... but no-one can go outside and enjoy it now.
When he picked up the laptop to go to the toilet I damn near pissed myself laughing
"I'm going to watch lotr" - me yesterday with extended versions
As a math teacher myself I can confirm that this is 100% accurate. Perhaps with some random "My camera/mic/computer is not working properly today".
I know I am late but the guy who cared deserves to know: the answer is x=3 or x=-3.
Oh my gosh can’t stop laughing. I live with a teacher and this is the entire experience I hear on the couch as he’s teaching the quadratic equation every single day🤣🤣🤣🤣
There's no quarantining creativity 🥰 brilliant! And frighteningly convincing... nearly got me reaching for a pen as well 😱
The poor kid at the end will never know the answer is actually + or - 3
Your man at the end broke my heart! Excellent sketch lads
this is it lads, you're going viral now. These guys should have way more views on their other videos.

This is brilliant. I'm a teacher in Canada and this week we are taking the time to plan and contact parents - we go on line on Monday. We're having all sorts of trouble, fun and laughs as those of us who are less teckie try to figure out all the online platforms.
Daragh Coulter My wife took it upon herself to set this up at her school too. I was so surprised at how far behind on the times the majority of even young teachers are. Even basic things like, don’t sit with a window behind you or speak to the microphone not whilst looking away if you just have a simple built on mic. I’m just a train driver, but turned out my help was much needed. The online world isn’t new. Have the people been living under a rock or something for the past 20 years?
@@chrishoggett1375 I am one of those who are not "teckie" - I still like to write letters and pick up the phone as a general rule, and I have a landline! (my cell phone is for travelling, emergencies and texting - not so I am "on call" 24/7). THAT SAID, I learn what I need to to do my job - as a teacher I have to be an example of being a good learner!
"I'm working from home... I'll just be in the garden" :)))))))) the true picture
the answer is actually ±3, i got you, last guy
Absolutely bloody superb. That cracked me up. After spending the past few weeks with a 9 year old, who is rapidly morphing into the rebellious character 'Rizzo' from the film Greece, coupled with several tutor interventions... I truly think you´ve hit the nail for many poor teachers and parents. Well done guys!
"We're not all gonna die"
"Well some of us might sir"
A very brilliant way to make a comedy sketch while social distancing. Love your works, lads!
2:47 the parent... he's working at home but says he be in the garden XDD

Ha! As a college professor who has recently transitions to online teaching for the remainder to the semester, I can relate.
Good to know that even in times of crisis we can look to Foil Arms and Hog to maintain a steady upload schedule
May God bless those students who actually pay attention.
One of my absolute favourites of all your sketches. It never fails to make me laugh hysterically!
I had to teach university tutorials over Zoom during lockdown. I'm glad that they weren't secondary school classes or it would have probably turned out exactly like this!
People are actually having online classes? We have just a ton of homework. That we have to send on e-mail
Mašušu Mašušu Yeah it’s much the same for me in Australia. Although one teacher did try to skype all of us to see how we were all going, which was nice of her. When people wouldn’t stop spamming the chat with stupid stuff she just sent us an email saying “stop using the chat I can see what you’re writing” because everyone thought she couldn’t 🤣
So in mine we don't have to show our faces so a lot of people just log in and leave it, the ones that actually stay just read the answers out of the book when we're asked for a a French word we were ment to learn
Certain schools in Ireland are definitely doing it, yeah. Colleges too AFAIK.
It’s the case for Ireland too but it wouldn’t make as funny a sketch!
You're lucky, I have both
Both my parents are teachers and they are laughing saying how accurate it is spot on 😂😂😂
Is no one going to mention that Foil was topless as one of the students?
My mum was calling me every 15 minutes for reasons like: what are you doing?, Come, see how I cook., I see an 🦉:D, why are you not coming?, Who is speaking there?, Are you still on your computer? and similar. It was 3 hours long lecture about crystal structure. And I said it to her before it started.
