Just shut up. What an idiot. It has nothing to do with Islam. It has spiritual part and God in that a lot but it's a love story . This Heer was a fictional character. Yes it was great cause the writer showed a woman as a symbol of love , loyalty , dedication , bravery and all. In this tale she doesnt get married with another guy and takes poison. Where as the truth was the guys lover was forcefully married and he was expelled from the village and his family. He was a great writer and a poet who later turned completely towards Sufism. In reality his lover was from a very low class family and the guy from a very high artristoractic Muslim Syed Family. But his greatness in writing was that he put her at a very high level and the name of the tale is Heer Waris Shah. Heer is a fictional name. After being kicked out he travlled all over Punjab singing this tale and thats how ppl got to know. He tried to shield his lovers reputation and created this character and all. Go and try reading. Dont drag religion in everything.

What an idiot , dumb head u are. I listened to this years ago at a shrine and the guy singing it was just great. Recently a few days ago i heard another guy singing near a mosque cause the Maulvi didnt allow him to sing near the mosque. So thats why i remembered all that shrine. My mother listens to it as well. I cant comprehend fully but it has a ceratin magic and purity in it.
