I saw these like basketball sports tiles you can get online, idk the specifics but if you got the extra cash it would look pretty sick on your court. I think you can choose colours and you just lay them out like tiles. Cool process tho fun to watch
I am not a concrete worker but that slab is going to crack fast. I see no rebar and also the ground wasn’t even level or cleared I still see grass growing
Where is your gravel? Gravel helps level out the ground more and allows water to drain underneath your slab so it’s less likely to get damaged. I didn't see any metal support like rebar or wire mesh that will reinforce the concrete to help prevent cracks or damage.
Thank you so much for sharing! My husband is going to do this for our boys. This has been super encouraging and helpful.

those slabs are kinda useless, just paint the damn concrete plus they decrease traction
Good work, man. Happy for you.
I hope the concrete slab last. Just pouring concrete on the ground without and base prep makes for weak foundation.
I was thinking the same thing - I had to rewind a couple times to check if they prepped the ground
Every time I seen one done it was gravel based.🤷♂️
How's the foundation on the basketball ring holding up over time?
what was the cost to poor the concrete?
will the concrete crack if it’s not cut?
how much was the whole process?

How much does the concrete cost
What does it cost? I want to make one in my yard.

There is a mesh but no thick bars. The wider slab, the higher the probability that it would break.
