The animation is trippy as hell. I love how they gave you the feeling that you're at the crossroads of graphics from past and present.
i commend your level head and really funny comebacks to a lot of these dudes. You can really tell it absolutely gets to them when they're extremely mad and stressed and it shows how much angrier they get when you hit them with the most sly comeback. Love it, good stuff ^^

I didn’t know that DOOM shotgun was actually real, it’s very cool. The “weird” animations as you called them, are low frames per second like in old school PC DOOM.

The animations are weird, because originally, the Super Shotgun doesn't have animations when you're running, except it sways even more to the sides.
