This happens to all of us. It justs something that is part of the hobby. Alwasys good to hear both sides the good and the bad. So many people only talk about the good.
Its easy when it goes well. Its when it goes poorly that procedures and solutions become ambiguous. Gluing the edges, not very elegant, is the only thing I know to try that has helped.
In my experience a strong lugol’s iodine dip will stop stn on my acros. They do lose more tissue but it quickly stops after. I’ve only tried this with small frags though never large colonies.
Holy carp that's crazy. I just finished a article about STN & RTN and the author did mention the crazy glue method. Let's hope it's gets better from here. Talk to you later.
If it bacterial thats the reason I dont combine all my tank together in 1 system.keep them apart.if it bacterial hope you got a uv sterilizer. Been watching forever first time posting.just my thoughts 1 tank 1 system.I know the big guys do 1 system but there all frag systems never touching.the main display is not connected to the frag tanks.hope this helps.
it has to be bacterial, I am having that same issue and it started with 2 corals....soon thereafer...it wiped out at least 12 other corals. I don't know what else to do
