Hi Mr. G, The Jerry Rig sounds a little darker than the first one. I like both; although I favor the first one. Sorry Jerry, I still love you! Please let me know if the new ones are easy to come by. Jerry is “good people!” Best Regards, Rick Looking for one for Bari! Née
Yes probably. Question is: is worth the cost to repair it. It's just an old ligature. Not like its a Rolex or something. And anyone with the skill to do the repair would certainly charge hansomely for their work. I'll save my money for refacing - which is also very expensive these days.
just ordered a 404 off amazon for my stm, thanks for the demonstration!!!!

The 404 fits over the Otto link rail perfectly...
Getasax does make a link sized ligature. I use one of their ligs on my soloist and its amazing. most well built ligature i've ever played.
yeah I've heard good things a swell about those.
I love my 404, I'm real careful to use cork Grease on the screws
The grommet can be fixed using silver soldering by a jewelry repair man or a sax tech

@@saxophonegeeks They would charge about $15 to $20. It would take them about 10 minutes.
