    The Jerry Rig sounds a little darker than the first one.
    I like both; although I favor the first one. Sorry Jerry, I still love you!

    Getasax does make a link sized ligature. I use one of their ligs on my soloist and its amazing. most well built ligature i've ever played.

    I love my 404, I'm real careful to use cork Grease on the screws

    The grommet can be fixed using silver soldering by a jewelry repair man or a sax tech

      Yes probably. Question is: is worth the cost to repair it. It's just an old ligature. Not like its a Rolex or something. And anyone with the skill to do the repair would certainly charge hansomely for their work. I'll save my money for refacing - which is also very expensive these days.

      @@saxophonegeeks They would charge about $15 to $20. It would take them about 10 minutes.
