Bit grim up there, John. Are you a climber as well as a scrambler? If all goes to plan I’m aiming to complete the Birketts, except Pillar Rock, by November next year. Looking forward someone to help me up the last one. I’ve done a LITTLE climbing before, but MANY years ago.
@@TonysTrails ah. Yes it's a grade 3 scramble. Very enjoyable but quite exposed. Easiest probably would be top roped, after someone went up first. I wanted to stay the night up there but it needs to be awesome weather. 😎

@ Aye, Pillar Rock as my final Birkett. Need a climber to do it with. Been up past it as first time I did Pillar was via the “High Level Route”.
