I graduated college from an accredited school. Problem is, the accrediting agency wasn't accredited. If only I had asked beforehand if the accrediting agency that accredited my school was itself accredited!!

I got this reply regarding Oxdell University:
The DC Education Licensure Commission has not had any communication with Oxdell University regarding their interest in offering distance education programs to District students. We do not have anything that verifies the legitimacy of the institution. Nor do we have anything that specifically suggests that the institution lacks legitimacy. Although their website suggests that they are accredited, I do not see where they are accredited by any Department of Education recognized accrediting bodies, which is something you may consider when choosing a post-secondary school to complete your studies.
My girl got work needed her to bring her diploma and transcript last week and I was worried about her loosing her job 😴 but everything good now only because of deelscafe great work 👍

Continental Academy High school used to be fully accredited and because they were helping the homeschoolers get their fully accredited diplomas through their correspondence group and they considered that homeschooling they took their credits away from them and ruined their reputation and everything this discrimination against homeschooling needs to stop but I do know that California Baptist university said that they might take Stratford Career Institute's credits yeah and will not let Missionary Chapel be fully accredited because they offer a correspondence high school diplomas and other degrees that they offer and they will not let them pay for their fully accreditations all just because its considered homeschooling

+Peter Jonas @ PeterJones , they have charged me a lot at the cost of accreditations and after completing my module when I showed up for Online Exam, the website kinda vanished!!! No one is replying to their phone!! Professional Frogers from this Uni were very Decent with Core knowledge of Major, they were decent and smart bunch of derelicts. I have reported to concerned Authorities whose names were used for accreditation as w/o their involvement how my verification went wrong!!! After gathering these planned to report Interpol. Fortunately I have each and Every Record from them. So, Mr/Ms "Peter Jonas" , would U like to share your Experience ???????

Christian Martinez Yes, in the eyes of the law and accreditation bodies but many don't recognize their degrees. They're in the same boat as for profit schools like Kaplan, Strayer, University of Phoenix, etc. Accredited and legally legitimate but no worthwhile large employer recognizes their degrees.

@@readmycomment4794 most employers I've dealt with like IBM, General Dynamics, SAIC, and Booz, Allen and Hamilton will not give the time of day to a for profit diploma/degree holder. Smaller companies might but no worthwhile company will.
The federal government won't recognize them. Most state governments won't either.
You'd be better off going to the local community college, get their degreee, transfer to a four year school and get their degree. No employer will question a degree from the local community college or from a known state university.
