He is best dad absolutely. He acts like he doesn't care but the second his students are in trouble he will do absolutely everything he possibly can to protect them. This is why he's one of my favourite pro heroes. He seems harsh but really he's doing the best he can to make absolutely sure his students are prepared for the real world of heroing and don't take stupid risks that'll get them killed. If they can't survive a high school hero course how can they possibly expect to survive as a hero against villains who will murk them the first chance they get?
Everything considered Deku really has the greatest father figures he could ask for. All Might and Aizawa both teach him and care for him pretty much the same. It's a beautiful thing!
The first time Aizawa stopped Midoriya was the best, he immediately understood his way of thinking. Aizawa is the best teacher you could get, even if he is the strictest! He ALWAYS knows his priorities.
