It is tricky .. cos ppl won't expect it an arrow made up by negative space, can be considered as arrow. Most people would expect the 5th arrow to be made up by the red ply wood.

for people who dont get it, the fifth arrow is in the negative space from the red arrows
more specifically in the negative space between the upper right hand red arrow in the lower right hand red arrow.

They made the puzzle into a metaphor on, I think, how once you see a repeating pattern of action or instruction (the 4 visible arrows), only then do you realize something else can be done, whether it be in complete opposition to what others do.

no, the arrows ARENT pointing “forward”. theyre pointing… to the right. “forward” can be any direction in this scenario.

For those who don't know where the fifth arrow, it is not red like the others but it's Grey and it is in the opposite direction. (Look in the middle then go to your right)
Sometimes, it really is the simplest answer. Seeing how the arrows look when grouped together looks so simple, and probably so easy to miss because of that.

The fifth arrow is directed to the opposite side and is the blankspace between the 4 arrows
You could also stack them up one after the other, align them correctly, thus making one tall arrow + 4 thin arrows
The thin arrows are inside the tall arrow thus it isn’t 1+4, but it’s 1x4, which equals 4.
You could also leave the two arrows from the top of the square together and connect a third arrow pointing straight down

If everything worked according to plan you're device should show a thumbs up sprite. Plug the HDMI port into a monitor and wait three seconds. If it boots up on TV your in the good side. If it doesn't boot in less then 5 seconds quickly unplug. This can severely damage your TV and possibly start a fire

Just like how there is at least 5 triangles in the Triforce
This is elementary school level of trickery.
I saw a different way. When you had the arrows all pointed together to make a square, you could have moved the two bottom ones away. This would give you a triangle formed by the top two arrows. Then you just take one of the arrows that you moved away from the top two and make it point down. Slide that arrow to meet the bottom-middle of the triangle formed by the top arrows and you end up with 4 small arrows where 3 of them have combined to form a large two-sided arrow.
I thought of the same thing, his ways doesn't actually feel like you've made an arrow

Like, an arrow is still an arrow no matter how long the stem is, so really there’s 7 arrows, 3 of which are missing massive chunks that give the arrows their defining trait of being shaped like arrows.
You can see at the end if you look in between the four arrows the hole makes the shape of another arrow

I was thinking it would be a real arrow. There's a bunch of other ways to make air arrows, one way is simply by moving one of the arrows really fast in a path that makes an arrow, then it will look like an arrow. Another is simply stacking all the arrows together on top of one another, it's simply a thicker arrow.
