It moves about like that because you're sitting too far back for a solo paddle. Try sitting more in the middle. I had the same problem. I used it in a river and the flow actually spun me round to facing the wrong direction if I didn't keep it on track by paddling. Once I shifted it was fine. Also, to solve the dripping paddles, wax them. It makes them more hydrophobic and you get less drips. I further resolved it by using an extra section from the second paddle to make it much longer.

@@ChrisParrishOutdoors only reason why I mentioned it is because mine are moveable and when you slide them all the way to the end, it minimizes “drippage”, though doesn’t eliminate it all together..Paddles need to be longer for sure to eliminate that all together..🤷♀️ Great video though..enjoyed it! 😊👍
You are spinning around because little if any of the front of the kayak is displacing any water because you are sitting at the extreme back end. The entire length needs to displace water in order to track straighter.

That seems to be the consensus. I was just used to sitting back there with two people. Makes a big difference with more weight up front.
Why are you sitting to the extreme back of the kayak?
It's a two seater and that's where the rear seat is positioned

The reason the paddles are “dripping” is because the little rings on the pole of the paddle should be closer to the end near the paddle part..

Yeah it's a two person kayak after all so maybe using the other seat position would help. but my legs are a bit too long to do that comfortably.
You might consider explaining how to inflate to the proper pressure.
