No fortisphere, scuttle, or tamatoa in blue steel build. Wild. The deck got a massive improvement in consistency with fortisphere and scuttle. Tammy for endgame lucky dime target especially with all the items now
Agree with Fortisphere but Sky knows what he is doing with Blue Steel so decided to take his build
Speci, thank you for being one of the first meta reports I've seen! My head was swirling with possibilities as a sapphire/ruby main. Thank you for simplifying the meta a bit. Can't wait to try out other colors. Seems like it's still a rock, paper, scissors matchup, but you definitely got me more pumped about the new set!

True, i am a fan of speci since Gwent, i am sure he will reconsider it. Speci, i also should very welcome some "funny" or thematic decks but also with some competitive juice in it. I made a funny but also powerful deck on mickey with brooms, with Stitch rock-star it was a machine gun, there were some malificent and pinocchios (Purple) for heavy early bleed (Lore). Now there are much more brooms then in time i did it, and that new sorcerer is insane.
Hey there! Just a heads up--Mill runs Muses so that when you sing AWNW while Lady Tremaine is down, you can bounce Lady back to your hand after you draw your 7, then play Lady again to begin AWNW loop. It's a new engine.

@@SpeciLorcana yep! Would love to see you pilot it. Deck Drops Do it again in favor of this Muse loop and with Pegasus or Tremaine singing it, you can wheel every turn early on. It’s more like a combo deck now than value.

It's an interesting exercise, but as mentioned by other people there's a few odd choices here and there. Understandable though given the large variety of decks to make & test out there in the early release of Set 4.
I do think this is missing a proper Ruby/Amethyst list, without the Mulans and Ursula that don't fit in the archetype, and with Sisu & Goofy which could be great adds. Though I do agree it remains to be seen if the color combination will remain in the similar archetype (midrange) as it was in the late Set 3, or if it will have to change completely to be viable.
The Steel/Sapphire also seems odd with only 1 of the new cards in there (and Ariel for that), when it got two other interesting cards added in the likes of Fortisphere & Scuttle. Another one missing is the non-Jafar Amethyst/Steel, but you already acknowledged that!
Fun to look at all the variety of decks there will be to test though!
Been having a blast with Amber/Ruby character decks so far. I think Pluto is a high consideration for the deck at three, turn one Pluto into turn two Gaston is huge. Best case scenario we can now turn three (6)drops which Amber/Ruby has several strong options for several in the list shown (small shout out the Hydra as well). However worst-case: Pluto is dealt with the turn he helped cheat out Gaston which constantly happened to me with Doc in set 3. This time though we aren't breaking even with our ink discount losing Pluto for Doc, instead we are gaining +1 discount with Gaston over Pluto allowing us turn three Mufasa plays. Your uninkable count will have to be something you manage but I think it is worth it over other options.

Legendary Kida + Under the sea... could return all the board in the player hand .. Most of character have 3 or 4 atk then I dont mind if Steelsong + R/A are less stronger.. they've been dominating the meta since Chapter 1. Fun to see new ink combinaison or low tiers deck getting better.

Was wondering if u did special requests on decks and if so would u be able to do something on ruby/safaire scrooge duck?
I’ve been using 3 Scuttle, 4 Fortisphere and 2 Sonic warriors in my Stuey (Steel/Sapphire) and it’s been crushing it on ladder.
Lemon Lime I believe is solid A and can make a push for S tier depends on the build. Super early because people have to start trying to tech the build I have uses 1 drop diablo and 3 drop with Bucky.
S tier shouldn’t have super bad matchups like Mufasa
so look at this family replaces the item in amber steel songs? or am i missing something

that legendary mulan is specific to coop pack? Can you get it from booster?
It's in boosters yeah. The version with the framebreak effect & border pattern is just from the co-op mode.
Same with Piglet Pirate Captain & Yen Sid
flynn frenemy is strong in ruby sapphire. i run 2 of in it and hes been solid so far
The new 3 drop sisu In Ruby is insane, anti whole new world card and also no mention of luminere? Specially in a Ruby/steel deck to stop medusa hitting beast or Robin Hood

I'm so glad we can stop seeing stupid Shield of Virtue in Ruby Sapphire lists. Even with hidden inkcaster, 34 non-inkables is way too much. If it's answered by an early Benja right afterward you're done.
So whats the official ruling on ursula and sing together?
I believe it is that Ursula can double sing but if there are two Ursula deceiver of all there you can't x4 sing as the first ones trigger puts the song at the bottom of the deck.
Only Amethyst/Steel is Jafar? People sleeping on Amethyst/Steel non-Jafar, I’m thinking that’s what I’m taking to Chicago.

Don't worry too early to see if this conclusion holds water, although I do agree it's a weaker "high tier" deck, there is some nice support in set 4.
@@theKonamacona to be honest, I only bought the bits as it was the cheaper deck of the competitive lists I saw. Play too many other tcgs to drop money on beasts and robin hoods.

Probably an oversight honestly the Ruby Amethyst deck is a bit of a pile I didn't test it

Like I'd be more inclined to see your perspective if there was some sort of attempt made to try these decks before just making that observation personally. But that's just me.
@@SpeciLorcanayeah man your take on ruby amethyst is strange to me. I was not a fan of the list presented here, and I think Mulan and the new Ursula don’t really fit in the deck. I think goofy and Isabela would fit better in those slots. Idk you may be right and it’s C tier now, but that deck present just was not it for me.

I like Queen + Sisu for Mufasa. Those players know they are giving up strong songs to make discard cards whiff.
Genie and the lamp are still mvp cards in steel Jafar.
None of your steel decks seem to feature I find them I flatten them in spite of item heavy decks supposed to be top threats. Stopping Hiram from drawing puts them in a really bad spot.

Yeah absolutely! Just thought it was interesting to share my thoughts on how things will shape up while also looking at a bunch of decks
I feel like a lot of these decks are half-baked in the interest of trying to be the first to a meta report and just putting good stuff piles together of set 4 stuff. The choices in Ruby Amethyst are odd.
I agree I dropped the ball a bit with the Ruby Amethyst deck.
But trust me when I say I put HOURS & HOURS into this video.
I will work to improve for next time to make sure no decks fall through the cracks
On a scale of "1" to "yes very much", how much do you hate Aggro for not including a single list of it in your vid? 😅😉 There are viable Hyper Aggro Decks with Amber/Amethyst, Amber/Sapphire, and even more aggressive lists than the Ruby/Amethyst list showcased here that didn't even got a mention. They eat Ruby/Sapphire as well as Steel/Sapphire ramp decks alive. These lists are way too greedy to be able to ramp to 20 mana and drop to Dimes and a Belle etc without being dead since twelve turns, seriously. Test them yourself, you'd be surprised :)
This ranking is completely wrong. Bucky Discards is the most dominant deck in this set by far. Diablo is a completely unbalanced card that needs to get banned.
22 uninkables in your R/S?? I know there is fishbone quill but it’s still an absurd amount. And there are literally no lucky dime targets besides tamatoa. This is all over the place. And there is no need to run the Tremaine effect song over Tremaine, when you can ramp to Tremaine and quest / dime. How does this deck win? this is the worst build I have ever seen.
Very fair feedback! (although worst deck ever is a bit of a strech)
