Thank you very much for your kind words of appreciation @konwaychin6890. I really enjoyed how much the Dragon Parade is not only part of the Chinese culture, but also a big part of Manchester's culture. If you pay close attention, you can see how many locals also participate in many of the traditions, for example, through some of the local Wushu schools, dragon boat racing, and other clubs. I believe Chinese people have been living in Manchester for around 175 years, so there are strong roots and long friendships with the people of the city. I also uploaded another video about the Lunar New Year celebration at the Manchester Museum, and there was a huge interest in exploring some of the traditional drawing techniques, calligraphy, and music. I am very grateful for the internet, which allows more and more people to peek into other people's lives and cultures from the "safety" of their homes, and realize that every culture has something beautiful to share with the world, and that the majority of people of any culture or any ethnicity are super nice. :)
@@TimQueenExplores I been to Manchester 2019 in February in China Town for Chinese New Year the same time visiting my daughter and it was really crowded and plenty of food stores.
Nice to see Western people joining Chinese people doing Dragon Parade and sharing our culture! Peace and freedom and staying healthy!🙏🧧🧧🀄
