@capturedonline You're very welcome indeed. It was hugely enjoyable, both for the sport and the camaraderie. Celts truly are the salt of the earth! Less than 2 mins into the video and i had subscribed 👍
Great film Llyn, what a lovely watch. All your hard work putting it all together is very much appreciated. Ilook forward to the next adventure of the Three musketeers! 👍 What month were you actualky on Hoy? Ta. Tight lines. Ewan 🏴
@@ewanmacgregor3056 thanks so much Ewan, I’m glad you enjoyed the video and appreciate you taking the time to comment. We were on Hoy during the third week of September. Tightlines 👍
looks like you guys had a great trip mate - maybe look at South Uist next time as there's a chance of Sea Trout , Brown Trout and Salmon all in the same loch if your lucky
@@lindsayiflyfish ah, thanks Lindsay, that means a lot coming from you! It was a challenge for sure (with so much footage), but I’m glad it showcases just how beautiful Hoy is 👍🏴
Thoroughly enjoyed the video Lyn, gives a great sense of the place. Had hoped to head up to Orkney this year but things conspired against us, but will definitely be there in 2025
@@galljnr8866 I think the weather was against us in that respect. The blue skies and lack of wind was ideal for filming, but not so good for fly fishing! More wind, clouds and even rain and I’m sure the fly would have produced fish 👍
That was an excellent watch! 👏👏👏

Great video. When the water is ripping through like that, I fish it like a river. Slowly swinging the fly. I don’t retrieve.

Well done Llyn. Excellent video. The best part for me was watching Lyn and Ceri enjoy the magic of Hoy. The dark enchanted isle.
