This has to be an exciting time to be a ML engineer! Have fun -- I became a programmer when I was just out of high school because it was what I loved doing. That was late 80's.....still doing it and still loving it.
I’d like to know more about the whole process about applying for graduate school and applying for a research position in Germany! Also want to know more in depth about how you decided to make that decision about furthering your career in a foreign country.
@@TheTechTrance Much appreciated! As a recent graduate (December 2023) with a B.S. Computer Science, I want to expand my horizons. Right now out of college I work as a product management assistant role. I enjoy the work in this field, but I think deep down my true passions are having something to do with AI/ML. Hence, I would love to hear more on your experiences in depth after graduating UC Berkeley and moving to Germany!
My advice to her would be to enjoy being human :) AI will integrate into all aspects of our lives soon enough and it will make it harder to distinguish from real humans and human interaction, so while she is still young, it's beneficial to connect with her humanness. Develop multiple interests and experiences and it'll provide her a unique perspective of things, before everything becomes codified. Other than that, a strong foundation with math is helpful. There are coding programs for kids and now semi-intelligent toy robots as well.

So cool how you went internationally to get your degree and learn machine learning! 🌍
You go girl!! 🤩
YOU DID IT!
Love your energy keep it up.
Thank you!
very informative video!!!
What advice can you provide me for my 7-year-old granddaughter who is already loving the AI revolution and wants to be a learning part of it?

I've met a lot of people with ADHD who are great engineers!
