What if we don’t weld the new camera housing and just carefully put it there ? , will it work ? As it has different connector and the place where camera sits is pretty snug anyway .
Very interesting. Haven’t had a opportunity to get into the 12-14 series. But I’ve been told that the cameras and many more are more problematic to replace faulty items.
I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max that has a damaged true depth sensor or something alike. The front camera works fine, but Face ID wont set up correctly. It is available, but practically not usabe, so it does not pick up your face correctly. Is it possible to replace the whole front camera/true depth unit without having to cut it open and replace only damaged parts? Or is information stored inside the true depth unit that prevents Face ID from working afterwards? I would then rather just buy a replacement unit.
Hey man i know this issue is not related to the video but im doing some research about .5 camera not working and giving camera message after drop on i13p/13pm. By any chance do you know if i replace the .5 camera module separately, will this fix the issue?
Nice one mate. Always a joy to watch your clever fixes. I learnt how to remove the Apple Watch glasses by watching your videos.
Smart way save Face ID some shops just replace all module and call Face ID unfixsible thumbs up
Another amazing video but please equalize your audio levels. commentary is quiet compared to music . thank you
