Yes! We call them "pride zoomies" at our house. They're so excited to have "won" the game or "found" the solution or "solved" the problem or "completed" the task! They are always so pleased with themselves when the humans affirm their success with the EXTREMELY important words: "Good Girl!" or "Good Boy!"
Lol 😂😂😂😂 they're happy they accomplished the task and they're thrilled about the human praising them, but there's something in the post-accomplishment zoomies that's different from all other reasons that lead to zoomies. There's this air of "Yes. I AM the good-est girl! I just did that! I am SO FREAKIN' S-M-A-R-T! I am the best doggo! Did you hear HOW MANY TIMES the human said "Good Girl"? Like seriously I'm so awesome!" It's like they have a prance-ey type of extra to each step of the entire zoom!
😂 True but what's she doing in there in the first place?! I'm not even a dog and I wanted to bark when he found her 😂
That's so true 😂 My beagle (PROPERLY known as a bagel) loves when we hide one of her toys for her to find. I think it brings out her hunting instincts or something, but her tail and nose are in full effect during the search, hahaha. Even something as simple as me laying on her toy and her finally reaching it makes her so happy and proud.
Hide and seek can be fun, too, but I usually end up popping out at her to "scare" her bc I can't resist. I put that in quotes bc, while she does get scared and jump backwards, she also gets so excited about it right after and has a blast. 😂

That is you dog was going totally by scent. While this dog was gong more by site. I had a blind chihuahua and she was pretty much like glue to me also. Except when we went for a walk. She still wanted to walk in front.

Yeah, I also loved hearing this 🥹 The only issue I see with animals and this type of floor is how uncomfortable it is for them just like you would try to run on ice it's hard wood so they can't use their claws for a grip.❤

Awwwww so precious. This is why I love animals. Just so pure and innocent. ❤️ the happiness expressed by them can not be faked. They truly are happy with what matters the most, love and family. They are grateful for any treats, food, toys, etc you give them and they give us so much unconditional love, laughter, companion, cuteness, furriness lol.

We had a deaf dog and taught the other dogs to find them. It was so helpful when bringing them in at night for instance or if they for some reason weren't around at feeding time. After success with this, we decided to do it for all the dogs in the future as they got older and hard of hearing.
This dog must have doggie autism because how couldn’t it just sniff it’s owner lol my dogs could’ve found me immediately
I play "Search and Rescue" with my GSD all the time. Its really just hide and seek, but search and rescue sounds cooler.

For everyone who doesn't know how dogs pick up scent so well, there's a reason why the dog passed by mamma so much. Dogs will trace a scent in a cone-shaped like manner in order to precisely pin down where the object of interest is. The odor is stronger at the source, meaning that it's weaker the farther away you are from it. It might have also been masked a little bit by all the other scents that they might have indoors, such as air fresheners, candles, and/or food out, unsealed, or still cooking. Dogs will often start from far away from an odor and pass by the source multiple times. They will stop and turn when the scent dulls because they know that they are getting farther from the object. Of course, when the scent is strong, they keep going in that direction, forming the cone shape mentioned.

SOOooo precious ! Just the sound of his nails on the floor take me back to our home with Doug fir floors... those happy pupper sounds are just the best ! We lost that home 5 years ago in California’s worst wildfire . First thing we loaded up the was the 2 dogs, while I got the cats in their carriers & ready to go.
