poor belle has been to hell and back and forth ever since these tragic moments. even now after long since been legally free, poor belle is still being emotionally, spiritually and mentally punished.
Dylan Michael the law doesn’t care whether it was an accident or not but it depends how old the killer/murderer is. it’s still considered as man slaughter and also it’s “in all fairness”
This is too harsh for what as far as I know is termed Involuntary manslaughter. Belle was completely sorry for what she did, and I would have thought that a sentence of community service and maybe some extra service to the victims family would have worked just as well as a custodial sentence, tho I suppose that the 3 years, with time out for good behaviour means she'd most likely, only serve about 18 months of that.

It was an accident and I don't think belle deserved to go to prison for it
camhopsmith I think it is still considered manslaughter because she died in the course of an assault.
