It's in power save mode, so automatically comes on when you stop and restart or warning of tight bends. As I mentioned I'm still recording so if I go anywhere new (which I did) I can save the route but powersave means it's not displaying all the time.
I don't pay attention to ride stats but I don't enjoy dead ends and hike-a-bike so I always have a route loaded. Interesting unreleased 76 Projects fork bag there, what are the benefits of that?
Never understood the the obsession with strava/garmin/tech on the bars - I ride to get away from that kind of thing - I do monitor my ride through a Cannondale app but that stays on the phone in the bike bag - but I really don’t get the constant looking at a screen while riding - each to their own, of course.
