Does the car have to be on in order to access the info on the app. Or will it upload to the app after each drive so can see recent driving info when you are nowhere near your car?
I heard Audi connect is a subscripiton, is this the same thing or some free version? they gave me this device yesterday but I dont have a myAudi account yet so its pretty limited
Yes of course! You get different badges within the app and trophies as awards for different driving conditions and days etc! For example not driving on national green day gains you a trophy in the app. Kind of a “got to collect them all” scenario

If you pull out the plug from the vehicle, the pin is also printed on the body of the plug.
