Is there anyone in the world that would make a better role model? No. It takes an extremely strong person to bounce back from rock bottom. Martin is an amazing musician and equally amazing man. He inspired me through my tough times and it was his lyrics and his voice that pulled me through it. I owe him so much more than I could ever hope to give him.

@martinsays I kept looking for other versions (live, stripped, acoustic, etc.) of this song on UA-cam for years. Now i finally found it! This wasmthe song that I played to my ex-boyfriend a few years ago when he had a depressing moment, I don't know if he got the meaning of this song but I really did. This song helped me through a lot, especially with the break-up. Damn, those feels! Anyway, I will support Boys Like Girls no matter what! You GO, Martin! Don't stop creating beautiful music!
