Financial freedom. What if I told you there were people with special needs who can and should be able to live a full life where they can fully participate in their own financial lives? What if I told you that wasn’t just a big mission - that it was a profitable business and one of the only profitable neobanks?
Today we’re sitting down with my friend and YC/Initialized founder Kai Stinchcombe - he’s the founder and CEO of True Link Financial.
Today, he shares the lessons he learned the hard way, so you don’t have to.

This reminds me of when I spent a few years caring for my dad.
Super relevant and helpful.🙏
This is such an amazing solution. Thanks for sharing
Garry there are a lot of inventors who have ideas for solving problems but they don't have that money to build their own startups , tell us more about selling ideas to companies.
There was once an investor told me: if you can't attract investors , it means your idea doesn't solve big enough problem.
But I don't totally agree with it. Sometimes it might be our presentation isn't attractive hahaha
You just gave me a critical idea I needed to make one of my spare business ideas work.
same here! what kind of business are you working on?
@@mclaren720 There's a lot of stuff in my backlog, but I'm a programmer, so it's mostly just web services.
This video is truly inspiring! The way True Link Financial is dedicated to helping underserved individuals, like the elderly, autistic, or those dealing with addiction, live a full life with financial independence is remarkable. One key takeaway that resonates with me is their focus on understanding the specific needs of their customers deeply. It's incredible how they've honed in on an underserved audience and are making a significant impact in their lives. It's incredible to see how they've positively impacted so many lives, and I'm eager to learn more about their approach and the lessons they've learned along the way.
Hey Garry I love your work man
Awesome video and a great mission. I see the application for elderly loved ones as well as pre-adult loved ones.
Always inspiring, Gary!!
I dig this, having personal experience. Respected. ❤
Awesome video.
disabled people
make up 20% of the population. when i bring this up, people dismiss it as "woke" but disability is just a part of being human. there is so much wealth and prosperity to be unlocked in accessible tech
I think the number is wrong around 20% of people in their lifetime experience a phase of disability
