Much respect for showing that any UA-camr fisherman can have a bad day fishing. Most of the UA-cam channels I see makes it seem they are the greatest at fishing and catching everything on every cast. Most of them wouldn’t even post their bad days. Good luck next time.

Heading out to pins now..prolly wont go past the 20mm.. im in a white trd tacoma.. stop by if you're out and about.. i can show you a couple things that will definitely help you with lure retrieve to baits that catch around here, also proper amount of string on reel, and tieing shock leaders so you dont cut your braid down to nothing over the course of a season.. im no pro but i definitely struggled in the same categories as you years back.. these little things helped me tremendously.. just here to help dude..

Thanks for the video. Yesterday I drove down to the 20 mile market on Pins during high tide. There were washed up trees everywhere. Made for great fun driving a jeep through Mother nature's obstacle course! Looks like you are spending lots of time on the beach so I am sure we will run into each other soon.
I hope to run into him one day that would be so cool man. It would also be a very humbling experience to be able to learn a couple tips off him. Tight lines.

They’ve been catching w/ live shrimp, half crab, those that use artificial used the sly dog lure about 3-5 inches long., or bits.
Those waves were rough. Can't believe the jetties were that empty. Liked your earlier video.

Paddle tail plastic, different colors, bright green, yellow, watermelon, white.
I want to try a skipjack recipe i think will work. It works good with carp. I steam the filets in a skillet with a quarter-inch of water. Drain the filets when they're cooked through and put them in a big bowl. Crumble the meat with your fingers and pick out the bones. Add chopped onions, peppers, breadcrumbs. Salt and pepper. If you want add some grated cheddar or an egg. Press into patties and fry like crab cakes.

Most of the other fishermen drag a wagon to carry their rods chairs, bait and fish both jetties, pt Aransas & new one the Army Corps just did before I worked for them.
you can only drag a wagon so far then it becomes impossible
@@texasbeachbum Sir, the other jetty, it has railing and you can park your wagon anywhere in the center of the jetty and some take chairs, but most stand and bring a pole net and wear strap on cleats

Retrieve is too fast, not casting far enough and if your afraid of getting wet when fishing a jetty, stay home....
I fish with a Spoon all the time and my retrieve is fine and I'm not afraid to get wet I have electronics on me recording. A Pro I guess you are eh? I'm casting far enough to catch the trout I do it all the time, typical know it all lol and who are you to tell me to stay home ?
Good video, but driving footage for almost 8 minutes was unnecessary.
It was necessary to show the drive from Fish Pass to Beach Access 2 as a lot of people wanted to see the conditions of the beach because Sheepshead are hitting the Fish Pass Jetties. Not for everyone but that is why it was put at the end of the video. Also shows you how long it takes at beach speed limit to get there
