You know vets don’t really love breeders and they certainly don’t help much. We took one of our puppies to the vet and all he said was “fading puppy syndrome “ and sent us home with a 3day old dying puppy all he did was prescribed amoxicillin. He didn’t offer oxygen treatment or anything. A few hour later and a couple 100 dollars she died ( heartbreaking 💔) Then two other puppies got sick same thing. So we started them on the antibiotics and oxygen machine( puppy warmer ) and lots of effort sleepless nights and love and Gods help, they survived. It was worth it is a great feeling too.
I hate to hear that, keep looking for a vet that is more caring. We have been there and we we are always looking for a backup vet.when you have a Fading puppy it could be that its dehydrated,we had a puppy with our last litter that was fading and our ved said she was dehydrated.he gave her a shot with fluid inder her skin to bounce her back ,she did and is fine now.
@@ArrowheadBulldogsandBengals first of all thanks for taking the time and for the advice. Yes you’re correct about dehydration it is one of the causes and very easy to notice and also treat we use unflavored pedialyte. We’re new at this and this is only our second litter and let me just say it’s been super hard and frustrating. Right now we have one puppy in the incubator for already 4 weeks straight, and is thanks to the help of people like you he’s still fighting to survive, we’re NOT giving up anymore and we will do the impossible to save baby “Jigsaw” he’s a sweetheart. Someone told my husband about that liver broth so I went looking for that recipe on UA-cam and found YOU. By the way I love your videos. It seems to be helping, we are full of hope that he’s gonna make it. So thanks a lot. By the way when a Vet. or Dr.👩⚕️ 👨🏾⚕️ For that matter, says the word “Syndrome “ ( a group of symptoms but unknown cause) what he really is telling you is ! I don’t know what it could be, I have no idea! So they don’t know how to help you. Guess we have to switch Vets
You are terrific… you present verbal and visual information well. You are well prepared and organized… great presentations! I really appreciate the content you share. Thanks
My puppy had aspiration pneumonia, will thus help her feel stronger like by building a stronger immune system. She is already under treatment but since she is the runt of litter and currently 1/3 of her normal size I'm looking for anything that might help her fragility.
Hire an oxygen machine. Run a tube very near her nose. Ivw seen comments of people using fish pumps. When I tried to get one I ended up talking to a knowlegeable brewer. They also have oxygen for home brewers. If you have ringers, and amoxyclav powder and a warming mat (be careful,) and you know what to do, its better than any vet here in Perth Aus for aspiration pneumonia. Not that I am good but vets very bad
When I say drops, I use a little bulb dropper and suck some liver water up into the dropper and just give the puppy a few drops from the end. Something like this amzn.to/31DhQCR
Hello so u give liver water only if u don't see them thriving ?? Or regardless u give them liver water every 2 hours, for a couple if days !! My litter it's due in 1 hour???? Thank h
Hello question my puppies are fine like you said but sometime you just wanna give it to them to stay safe my puppies where born on may 9 can I give it to them ? Wish I knew this before one of my pups had a cleft pallet and was eating pretty good but started fading away like you said wasn’t gaining weight and it died in my incubator.
Hello so no you would just use the recommended amount I mentioned and This will not fill the puppy up by the liver water alone. the liver water is full of nutrients which will Help the puppy bounce back from fading puppy syndrome. So you would either need to continue nursing to fill the puppy up or however you are feeding the puppy
We typically only bottle feed when mom isn't producing producing mike well, for example is if she has a large litter and caint keep up the milk supply.Or if the puppy has a poor latch.thanks for the question 👍
My puppies are 4 days old can I still give them liver water? I’m noticing one of my puppies seems weak n doesn’t stay latched on to long when feeding also it’s been crying a lot
That’s uncalled for, when all she’s trying to do is be helpful and informative, if she was vague and unhelpful what good would that be? Or would you prefer her to rush through and next explain it properly? Idiot.
I could have watched it for another half an hour LOL I have been using this remedy for years I do add glucose or table sugar a few grains of Himalayan salt and some probiotics generally if I'm using this liver water I'm also using antibiotics. I really enjoyed your video! I'm glad this information is getting out there more and more.
Specialist newborn pup probiotics? Which brand? Serious question from 32 year breeder. I use honey or golden syrup to give the energy to swallow the liver water if really struggling. Works wonders. Also use my secret vitamins Abidec that I order from uk. A lot of rubbing and warmth sometimes works miracles, as does kiss of life. And prayers. Had one come back from dead was spasmed and stiff gone dead 10 mins was crying and praying and he came back. His name is Jiemba but he only answers to "Bonus dog'.
Came for the recipe but Low key more impressed with the water spout over your oven 😍🥹🤣
You saved 2 of my puppies lives thanks !

Good Info!
Thank you 🥰
I’m sorry but what do you mean by drops? I’m really confused or what do I use?
When I say drops, I use a little bulb dropper and suck some liver water up into the dropper and just give the puppy a few drops from the end.

Does anyone just give it to all puppies as a boost ?
Hello so u give liver water only if u don't see them thriving ?? Or regardless u give them liver water every 2 hours, for a couple if days !! My litter it's due in 1 hour???? Thank h
Hello, yeah we don't usually give liver water unless it's needed. Hope all goes well today for you
Hello question my puppies are fine like you said but sometime you just wanna give it to them to stay safe my puppies where born on may 9 can I give it to them ? Wish I knew this before one of my pups had a cleft pallet and was eating pretty good but started fading away like you said wasn’t gaining weight and it died in my incubator.
Sorry to hear Is out your puppy.. Yes you can still give it to them but we don't typically do that unless we see signs that it's needed
Can i give healthy puppies
Is this ok to do if puppy's are fine but you just want to give extra nutrients? Also can you still do this at stage 2 after the first 4 weeks?
We don't typically give it to them unless they need it but I don't see why not and yes that age is fine
Do you give the drops as still let her nurse on mom ?
Yes
Does this fill the puppy up or do I give the puppy more goat milk?
Hello so no you would just use the recommended amount I mentioned and This will not fill the puppy up by the liver water alone. the liver water is full of nutrients which will Help the puppy bounce back from fading puppy syndrome. If not latching I give it in organic goat milk
Do you continue to Nurse or bottle feed?
We typically only bottle feed when mom isn't producing producing mike well, for example is if she has a large litter and caint keep up the milk supply.Or if the puppy has a poor latch.thanks for the question 👍
Fenugreek have been a life saver when mum doesn't produce milk I've given it my girls and withing 24hrs milk production has increased
Does it have to be amber color or can it be reddish
Hello, if you followed the directions and got that colour that should be fine
How long is the liver water good for in the fridge?
You can freeze it for a long while but in the fridge I personally wouldn't leave it more than 3 days
You can freeze it in small batches
My puppies are 4 days old can I still give them liver water? I’m noticing one of my puppies seems weak n doesn’t stay latched on to long when feeding also it’s been crying a lot
Yes you can.Make sure you are weighing them after the feeding to make sure there graining
@@ArrowheadBulldogsandBengals will do thank you
Can I give to puppy even if its doing good?
I'm sure you could but it wouldn't be needed,it would be better to give to mom if the pups are doing well it would help replenish her
Can you use lambs liver? Beef liver is proving difficult to source 😖
I DONT SEE WHY NOT👍🏼
@@ArrowheadBulldogsandBengals thank you!!
Does it need to be clear yellow colour
Mine is red, blood color.....is that wrong?
Can you give this to a healthy new born puppy to help there immune system
We dont but I dont see why not.
Could you accidentally give to much and if so what would it do ?
Yes u can give too much and it will cause vomiting and death
4 drops is all you need
Yes it would cause vitaminA toxicity
Chicken liver? Is that OK for new born puppy?
Chicken Liver Water is ok when NEEDED not the liver itself 👌
@@ArrowheadBulldogsandBengals Why not the liver itself?
@@carolyngaul4101 because puppies at this age don't have teeth silly LOL
Does in need to be beef liver? Where we live it's easier to get pig or lamb liver.
Good question,I wouldn't do pig if possible but i would say lamb is fine😊
Your mama's need the raw liver with the blood not cooked. All the nutrients are cooked out in the water.
Could you draw this out any longer?!?!?!
Probably
